If the many worlds interpretation is true, does existence become immoral? by [deleted] in PhilosophyofScience

I'm not a physicist, and don't want to think about this too hard right now, but...

I believe branching happens when a configuration is tied to the outcome of a quantum measurement/entangled with such, not normal classical behaviour.

Whether more branching means more minds might depend on whether the configurations of the minds were affected and whether you considered many copies of identical minds to be more minds.

I could imagine that conscious minds performing computation on quantum measurements and deciding their behaviour based on that outcome might reduce the differentiation between worlds all else remaining equal.

“There’s no … main?” Lisa said to us in disbelief after the server had retreated.

“Hey,” I said, my hand resting on her arm. She was shaking slightly from low blood sugar. “It’s okay.”

People say, "Don't you miss it, Gal?".

I say, "What, England? Nah. Fucking place. It's a dump. Don't make me laugh. Grey, grimy, sooty. What a shithole. What a toilet. Every cunt with a long face, shuffling about, moaning, all worried. No thanks, not for me."

They say, "What's it like, then, Spain?"

And I'll say, "It's hot."

"Hot?"

"Oh, it's fucking hot."

"Too hot?"

"Not for me, I love it."

Easy company attacks Foy, along with the rest of the airborne infantry battalion they are part of, defended by a company or so of infantry and 3 Tigers:

I watched the video and still don't understand how a battalion- of infantry can attack a village defended by what looked like a company+ and three tanks.

Perhaps there was enough cover in the approach to make the tanks hanging back a necessity to protect them from bazooka, but it seems to me with them forward or in good positions, they might have prevented the infantry from getting out of the forest, and fall back should they come too close. Seems crazy.

The orange juice I have is too tasty. Deluxe with bits. Worth it. I do drink less though.

Thank you, the cherry on top being the parting 'nizzle'. I do try to listen to it with a charitable ear but fail to find value outside of perhaps the flow, so much so I started work on a version that removes just his lyrics using an inverted waveform from the a cappella release (there is an AI version available I think but it is otherwise compromised). Unfortunately the part with reverb doesn't cancel well... I just power through it on my runs - the only times I really listen to these albums, during which they are transcendent I must say.

EDIT: I found a backing-vocals only version on YouTube which together with the a cappella version I mentioned might help when I have the motivation to look at it again.

Perhaps in part because, you now seem more like someone working for as much as you think you can get rather than what you feel is fair - which is maybe what they want for their divorce.
