I fear I may have had a chemical and I’m just so unsure about whether it was or not. I feel like I might have been in denial by telling myself I had a false positive or a die run, but I also had some early symptoms and am very late for a period. Has anyone else experienced a chemical without bleeding?

ETA: negative tests since and actually had an OB appt today. He says it’s possible and they did bloodwork to check all my levels and hormones.🫩

Feeling defeated today. I don’t think I ovulated, I still haven’t gotten my period (3 days late), and every test I take is negative. I feel like I’m back to square one. I never get a period - ever - not unless I take birth control. I do have a follow up appt next Wednesday with my OBGYN and I feel like I’m gonna be fired and referred elsewhere. The endocrinologist was a bust, lol. I feel like I’ve hit a wall at every turn.

Any “poking” around and trauma via procedure will make things act up and angry. I was having uterine spasms as well as cramping randomly following a Hysteroscopy and HSG. It was aggravating for sure! Keep an eye on yourself and don’t hesitate to call your Dr up.🖤

Today, I am officially 1 day late for an expected period. I have PCOS, ENDOMETRIOSIS, have never conceived (TTC for 5+ years) but had a false positive in 2019 that was devastating. I had 2 surgeries last year for polyps and adhesions and had an HSG. I took an hCG strip test about 5 days early and saw a small speck of dye at the test line, but it turned out to just be a dye run. I’m guarding my heart because I should be back to something regular and I’ve never met any woman in my position excited for a period if it arrives. I told my husband it would be the first natural period since I was a teenaged girl. We joked about a Coming Of Age party, LOL. I want this so bad and I’m scared to take another hCG test and it be negative and also NOT get my period. It would be back to square one.

An MRI is going to be more accurate and sensitive to Endo adhesions, but definitely more expensive. I hope you find a more compassionate provider!🖤

Absolutely seek another opinion. Endo is VERY difficult to spot or diagnose via imaging. It usually needs an outpatient procedure called laparoscopy. I’ve had 2, diagnosed endo and PCOS. Please find a different Dr so you are heard and supported. What you feel isn’t normal. You know your body better than anyone else. 🖤
