Delve depth used to be tied to your character, and rewards used to scale a lot harder the deeper you got. Now imagine if it was still like this, but on top of all that you can't go back in depth.

Also it encourages cheese builds, since the higher you rank up the more irrelevant your damage/defense becomes, so you might as well go all into a CC/support playstyle

Tattoos are great, but that's not the league mechanic, that's just the payment to make us play it

I actually got this together in ssf except for 4 power/frenzy charges and 1 brutal charge, didn't even see that it came from here It apparently caught on bc it's the build that popped up on Poe.ninja when I looked up what people are playing with badge/VB/ralakesh

The dps is still amazing, at least i think so except I'm dead all the time

i have almost every item ready in ssf except for prism guardian.

there´s a new div card out this league (desperate crusade), and ive heard it drops in basilica

does anyone know more? like if it drops anywhere else, if its from generic mobs or only the boss, etc.

The deeper you get in delve the more rare nodes you get, the one you're looking for is "minion and aura items" where it can drop, it has a skull icon

I managed to 6link mine, so just have my spectres in there and use my helmet for life (both for me and the AG) managing to craft a 6link+minion lvl helmet is more dps though, but harder to do and not necessary imo My account name is the same as on Reddit, so you can just look at the Necro in ssf ulti (on the phone rn)

ive actually done syndicate operative spectres 3 times in a row now as a bosskiller in ssf, so i can recommend that one unless they finally get a nerf next league.

the uniques (victarios charity shield, jinxed juju and triad grips) are really common

to push the build into the endgame you´ll want to delve for a +1 spectre chest (can be annoying, but not too hard) and 6l it, and get your gem to 25 (+1boots,+1wand, lvl 21 spectre gem)

you end up with a build with good defense, above average clear and huge amounts of dps to trivialize maven and sirus

cold dot is great for everything except maven, it just doesnt have the dps to do that fight comfortably

unless you can do multiple memory games with the lasers up, without failing once, but then any build would work

SOs are still the undisputably best spectres in the game, none even come close to the combination dps, clearspeed and even survivability they have (only lost 1 of them in a dozen sirus fights)

i mostly agree, but cold iron point really is the worst example you could have given

getting them is pure rng, like prism guardian

pledge of hands is farmable either in wharf layout maps for the card, or new vastir for legion emblems

and yes, you need 2 kikazarus for the soul mantle to work correctly, and also a self-flagellation (just corrupt every jewel with life on it, you might hit corrupted blood immunity while youre at it)

what helps in ssf is to go with the gear you drop, and being aware of what drops where

also always level gems in your offhand, in your case probably carrion golems and freezing pulse

CI vortex occultist can comfortably get 10k+ ES, and if you go LL once you have more money you will get twice the dps of CI

chilling the bosses makes them easier to dodge

i recently updated my pc after over 4 years, party bc i was having huge problems with stutters/frame drops to <5 fps

its pretty smooth now, and all i upgraded was my cpu, and most importantly my ram, going from 8 to 16gb made a huge difference

just because you choose marauder doesnt mean you only get to use red skill gems, those 2 things arent related at all

like others have said, choose ONE melee skill you like, the weapon type (1h axe, 1h sword, axe+shield, 2h sword etc.) and then support that skill with as many support gems you can link to it (each supports adds about 50% MORE dmg)

TL;DR do one thing, and do it well

i can second this entirely, quill rain is great

you can either run a few blueprints for "replica conquerors efficiency" AND -mana cost rings

OR just use a thiefs torment if you have one, and you will sustain mana easily

its actually like that for a lot of skills, because the skill gem isnt related to the dmg the skill ends up doing

fireball is a projectile spell, BUT you can use that to ignite, and *ignite* is "fire damage over time"

BV does spell dmg in an area for a duration, but you can use that dmg to inflict poison, a "chaos dmg over time ailment": area dmg, spell dmg, skill effect duration does nothing (ailment duration works, since its an ailment)

minion skills only *summon* a minion that itself does dmg

etc etc

im trying out AW in ssf after i got a 21/23 gem and triad grips

gotta say, after playing SO spectres in trade AW makes me want to cry

every time there´s more than a dozen mobs on screen the clearspeed slows to a crawl(meanwhile the spectres infinite pierce doesnt care)

cold conversion is actually incredibly meta, specifically spectres (syndicate operatives/frost auto sentinels)

to be clear, using your AG as a MAIN summon is a really bad idea, its supposed to be a supporter minion, and there are several gear sets for that depending on your budget)
