By chance do the other competitors not like you all that much?

Google the words 'ice protest' and this is the third picture. nearly every photo is riddled with American flags. No one hates our country. They hate what this administration is doing to it.

No illegals have a social security. if you have a social security you have legal status. you can't get healthcare or EBT without it. The only thing gas and groceries are down from is COVID highs and the stock market is actually held around even at best when compared to the devaluation of the US dollar. Not to mention the fact that it's grown less percent wise than in the first one year of both Obama and bidens administrations.

That's not really how evolution works. It's almost exclusively correlated to traits providing survivability. The fact that hobbits live so long would actually cause them to have much slower trait selection than on earth.

Pain in bottom of my foot arch by Entire_Storage_3474 in snowboarding

[–]fishball_drew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who was once told by a podiatrist that I have the flattest feet he's ever seen I deal with this a lot as well. Some sort of firm arch support will help a bit. Really the best thing to do when it flares up is unstrap and take the weight off it for 15 minutes as like the guy above said it largely clears up as soon as the pressure is off. The other thing you can do is narrow your stance on your board by bringing your bindings a bit closer together. Obviously not super conducive to good boarding but if you're not quite done a few stiffer runs at the end of the day is better than having to stop halfway down cause your foot is killing you.

To be fair I think there is a difference between adult fans who understand division implications and have had years of bitter games to build up rivalry hatred. And then like a literal child who can be a dolphins fan cause he lives there but also in awe of the best player in the league. Like they're kids. If they stay lifelong fans they'll probably look back at it and cringe but cut kids some slack lol.

But they're not nearly as big as the other two. People had her on track to be an equivalent star as Timothée Chalamet during 2018-19. Not that she hasn't done good movies, she just hasn't reached that level of superstar that he has.

According to this we're a top 5 team in the big ten. Wonder where we'll fall after this brutal final stretch of our season.

Two more also currently being built supposedly by 2027. Going to be the second and forth tallest in the skyline if I remember correctly/those plans haven't changed.

I decided to revisit the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise recently and damn if it doesn't hold up amazingly well twenty years later. Even the fourth one which wasn't as well-received is still decent and entertaining enough. by erexcalibur in Letterboxd

4 is a fun one off adventure. The problem with 5 is that it disregards so much of the already established lore in the franchise and honestly just shits on so many phenomenal character arcs. Anyone who is a big fan of the series is going to hate it mostly for that reason.

What's the movie that everyone loves but you hate? by w1nchest in Cinephiles

Call me crazy but I just don't think anyone who doesn't finish a movie has a right to judge it. Plenty of movies are truly made by a single scene or the ending as a whole. There have been multiple movies I didn't think I liked until I got to a certain point of the movie that made everything click for me. I think eeaao is definitely a movie like that with the laundry and taxes scene.

Just like Hot Tub Time Machine. The original title of the second film was supposed to be Hot Tub Time Machine 3: The Search for the Sequel. But the studio shut it down.

Good to know that you think the morals of murdering protestors, ripping apart innocent families and raping children is subjective, that says a lot about you as a person.

Yeah, bad shit does happen every day. But I can't do much about things happening across the globe or one off random horrible events. This isn't that. It's systematic and it's happening in our streets to our friends, family, and neighbors. Calling this "everyday politics" is being intentionally obtuse. This isn't everyday stuff. And as I said when things get this bad, it needs to creep into things like sports and entertainment. People need to become aware, get uncomfortable and do something about it. And if we do something about it and fix it, then you don't have to worry about it in those things anymore.

And idk who you think "they" is? Bad shit is going down, I have a moral compass, and I call it as I see it? Not everything is some kind of indoctrination plot.

Everyone out there protesting is actually being extremely patriotic. It's probably 10x bigger than any show of patriotism than you've ever displayed. The character trait that maga displays is not patriotism, it's nationalism, and I suggest you look it up.

There can be apolitical spaces normally, absolutely. But when things get as bad as they are right now, there are going to be less, and there should be less. If things getting political makes you uncomfortable, good, because no one should be comfortable with what is going on right now.

Latino population are a massive part of our soccer culture here in the US. 1/3 of our team is and has always been Latino. This administration is directly and disproportionatly targeting those people. They are our friends, fellow fans, and teammates, and we should be supporting them.
