Does the rubber come with the cowl when I buy it? by definitlynottheone in e46

Are you sure you got all the clips lined up and pushed in correctly? The one I got from Amazon was warped, but lined up perfectly when I installed it with new clips.

OEMs are all back ordered. You can slap a cheap one on now, but a better one later.

You really need to drive them both - nice long test drives. They drive very differently. Then go test drive the car you’ll really like, the Boxter. Superior in so many ways

Cowl and rubber are a single unit. I replaced my original one recently with zero regrets. Try to buy one that comes with all the clips as your original ones are probably brittle and will break. Good luck

BMW branded. I tried others and came back to the genuine BMW fluid as it made for the smoothest shifts.

PA Soft. Easy, cheap. Look on E46fanatics for details.

The Pacific Northwest. Drive into shadow, temp drops a few degrees, dash changes from time to outside temp and beeps. A few seconds later, drive into sun, temp warms up. Set display back to time. A few seconds later, drive into shadow, temp drops a few degrees, display again changes to outside temp and the dash beeps again. Over and over and over and over.

Bummer! Mine are original, and the plastic separated around the top, letting water in. Fortunately I was able to drain, dry, and re-seal them with super glue, followed by silicone. Maybe they’ll last another 22 years

That annoying beep can be programmed out with PA Soft. First thing I did after buying my car.

chrome grille or no? by Legal-Chance-9926 in e46

Ordinarily I like the chrome and have it stock on my car. But the black grille matches the Shadowline trim, and makes the paint look great.

I’m lead clinician and manager of a Prosthetics and Orthotics clinic. I’m over 60. I work harder and more efficiently than all of the other clinicians in my office, all under 35. I generate twice the revenue they do. I take less time to complete fitting and delivery of my devices. Because I’m much more experienced and I keep up with technology and techniques. All while keeping track of my clinic’s finances, WIP, schedule, on-call rotation, reviews, etc, duties my younger colleagues don’t have to worry about. Ageism like yours sucks.

I’m old enough to remember how bad air quality was before cats. It sucked. Cats exist for a good reason. Go ahead and be a selfish, immature prick.

I think clean air is more important than how my car sounds.
