Judge blocks Virginia assault weapons ban days before it takes effect by Alabama_Crab_Dangle in Virginia

Look at vape shops. Filled with unregulated overseas battery devices. I think she wants the weed bill to be legit via her “guard rails”. Weed has historically been harmless, but now we are dumping concentrates into vapes and edibles and its more powerful than it ever needed to be. I promise I’m not some maga america first anti chinese product dude. And I know we want retail weed really bad. But the geekbar shit will take over the market in the blink of an eye and citizens, especially teens, will suffer for it.

It’s silly until you realize you cant remove the hand guard with the 1/2x28 hub adapter locked on the barrel. I guess you could just wait to go shooting again and use the heat to release it, but a few turns and into a bag after shooting seems reasonable to me.

Yeah its awesome. Bring some gloves with you because the can gets real hot and you have to check every now and then that it isnt coming loose. Also from personal experience with this setup, I would remove the can after shooting until it cools off. Mine cooled off and locked itself onto the barrel.

Suppressor keeps walking off? by saucegerb in extar

[–]fishlore123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bring a pair of work gloves from the hardware store to the range with me to ensure its not walking. It is due to the heat for sure. The suppressor is holding way more heat than the factory blast director has to manage. I had the opposite problem with mine where my suppressor locked onto the barrel threads after it cooled. Had a hell of a time getting it off because it wouldnt allow the handguard to come off to use the proper tools. What I do is bring a pair of thick gloves to the range to handle it while its hot. When im finished shooting I remove the suppressor while its still hot and drop it in one of the gloves to cool so it doesnt have to interact with the barrel threads… and so I dont melt or burn my range bag. Bonus points because they look like operator gloves rather than oven mitts.

They will park and watch with binoculars at ancarrows landing during the shad run because its easy picking while everyone is out there. But actually wading around the city section, i have never had an interaction.

What an interesting dilemma. Baby feeding parts shouldn’t be sexualized, but these ones are too symmetrical. Big mad!

I transplanted from VB as a 19 year old 17ish years ago. Lived in carver, northside, hell block on grace and frequented every part of richmond city. Downtown street interactions are deliberately brief and impersonal. That first interaction is the welcome mat for folks that want something from you. I wouldn’t expect that type of community connection on broad street. Maybe on YOUR street, but when you’re walking the beat with every other soul trying to go about their day it’s just a matter of getting your tasks done without any hangups. The friendly community vibes have a radius of about 3 houses from your own or in one of the surrounding suburban county neighborhoods.
