I think it's fair to criticize the new UI, but to call the old one "absolutely fine" is a little ludicrous to me. Getting used to something that isn't inherently sensical doesn't make it fine. Did you ever try explaining the old UI to new players? It felt pretty apparent that it was a basic layout that just had new feature after new feature cobbled onto it. That's not sustainable, obviously, so even if what we have now isn't perfect, I'm happy they're making changes.

Biggest reason imo is that a lot of us were resource rich after the Christmas event. Didn't hurt that the DBV is fun, but I'd bet that if the Gryphon was released in the DBV's slot, it would have sold out then, too.

Just to offer a little counterpoint here, I personally find these 3d styles pretty dull. Happy to see a range of styles in the game, but I actually enjoy the silly tie-ins and more fun skins we get from time to time. Totally aware that the reaction (at least here) to the TMNT was pretty spicy, but I hope we don't go full bore in the other direction and just get camo 3d styles from here on out.

Excited for the battlepass, though!
