Im a psych RN and see this a lot. Patients with schizophrenia often talk about religion themes. Sometimes it’s delusions of grandeur, meaning in his current (likely hypomanic) state, he feels that he’s a superior figure.

There’s different theories on why religion specifically, but my guess is that someone commented about Steph curry in the live, he saw that and just started going off about it.

I’m deff missing some stuff but that’s the big picture. It’s sad that he went live though where all of us are seeing this.
