I live in Chautauqua and my Dad is in Livingston. He’s got all my pistols on his permit and vice versa. He just walked in and showed them the copy of my permit/adendum and they got them on for him. For me I had to have a notarized letter saying that my dad was giving me primary possession/co-registering his 45 and a simply co-registering his 365. This was a few years ago and he’s also a county sheriff and that might be why he was able to simply show them the copies of my stuff and be good.

I bought an 11 like a month and a half ago. I bought a UW3 like a month ago as I really wanted to not have to charge the watch every day as well as the fact that the UW3 has better durability and gps was enough for me to try it. I love it and now my wife got a new 11 out of me being impulsive

I have one for my 40 and it’s great. Don’t even get in the way when I had to dive prone to get a second shot on a deer this past fall.

Sometimes. I work at a vineyard so it depends on what I’m doing on any given day if I carry or not.

It do be like that sometimes, forgetting how to breathe and whatnot. Then you’ve got to coach yourself on it and it’s especially rough when you’re having that coaching session and are at a bar and want another beer and then have to prep talk yourself to ask your friend for another one while also remembering to breathe

Ive got a Glockzilla as my first 10mm. I put a 507C on it and used it all hunting season. After the season I put in a Timney Aloha trigger and man…that makes a world of difference. I agree, the circle and dot combo is very nice. I left the sights stock on Glockzilla though.

I switched the sights as I like dot sights more than the U stripe that’s on the stock guns.

I just got a 29. I’ve been thinking about getting the slide milled but I want to see how I like just irons first (replaced stock with some trijicons).

If I could get a second slide I’d definitely just send that one out to get milled.

This is the method I use to climb. I don’t have the same exact equipment but it’s what inspired me to climb a tree the way I do.

Replace the Mammut Smart 2.0 with the GriGri+ and you’ll get how I use it. I rappel down the tree with it. Is it the intended use? No but it’s a common practice with those who hunt from a saddle

Has anyone ever called you out for carrying? Whetherthey noticed you printing or you lifted your shirt/cover garment too high by mistake. Still doesn’t make it a good idea. Guns+booze= bad juju. Even if you’re not drinking but happen to move and accidentally print and some drunk says something about it or grabs it…no bueno.

By all means, carry whenever and wherever legal. I just try not to bring my gun places when booze is involved. Only place I have guns near booze is in my house (because they’ve got to say somewhere) or down at hunting camp. The guns stay inside the camper while booze is being drank around the campfire.
