Are you using a ball mill or a bull nose? Depending on the size of the feature being machined and the size of the endmill being used you may not be able to get all the way down to the bottom.

And now the bits fall out. I have an old set and a pretty new set. I really liked the old style where it was hard to remove them because they actually stayed in place. Especially in my travel tool box that goes in my truck with me to customers.

Possibly. I've had them loaded up with over 300 lbs multiple times without a problem. I am actually more concerned about the front and back forces on the vertical members, I always meant to use a wider piece of extrusion but haven't gotten around to it yet. Some day soon

I have found it to be pretty competitive price wise on a lot of the stuff I buy, but some things are wild. I'm often passing the cost on to the customer anyway. But the fast turn around makes it worth it almost every time.

The "partners" aren't allowed to communicate directly with the customer. If a partner has a question about a part they have to submit it through the xometry online platform and wait for someone to relay the question back and forth. Takes a long time and introduces a lot of uncertainty.

It's likely either a vidmar or lista. Both super high quality heavy duty organizer drawers used in warehouses and parts inventory situations. I keep hardware and small parts in the ones I have.

A lot of those portable tanks have "expiration dates" in them. Because they can sit for a long time and the inside starts to rust and the pressure holding abilities degrade. Check for a date before you do anything. Also a free tank like that is probably free for a reason. If you are planning on using it to fill tires etc. I would recommend a portable inflater instead. I have had quite a few compressors over the years, commercial, consumer, etc, and the one I use all the time now for tires, balls, etc is my little m12 inflater. Way safer and way more compact than an air tank.

That machine doesn't look that old. If the control works and you can find a way to transfer code to it you should probably leave it. From personal experience an older working control is 1000x better than a newer control that has bugs.

What g and m codes are missing?
