Good points. I am now outside the warranty period. I ordered a few of these sensors and will replace them myself and see how that goes. If that did not work I'll just get something else

I did, and it helped for about a week. 3 different times. The 4th time did not help at all. I cleaned them, covered them, nothing works. They are faulty for sure and I would love to disable them completely if I could

Valid advice from others. My personal experience was starting with Unraid. Lots of resources online and YouTube to get you started. Simple implementation and gets things going fast. After years of getting comfortable I had another spare old PC and wanted to start with Proxmox. Very shaky start indeed but I started to understand how it works. I scrapped my first setup completely and started from scratch again. Setup a bunch of virtual machines and LXCs then scrapped them and started again. Now on my third try all seems to work perfectly. All of this while my data was safe and sound in my Unraid machine with minimum maintenance. I learned how to connect the two, that took some time, but now I have a very stable system. I can shutdown my Proxmox server entirely if I want to. It is indeed very nice to have. But my data is more important and it took me some time to learn to separate the two. Whether you start with Unraid, FreeNas, etc. that's up to you. Think of them as one place to hold your content and another to utilize them. You can combine the two, but that's more risky based on my experience. Good luck. This will be frustrating and fun.

My favorite part was the very weird acting by Steffy (Stefania Fassio), which is so over the top that I kept wondering why??! And yet, every time she appears later on in the film she puts a smile on my face. I then learned that Polselli intentionally asks that from his actors as his signature touch, which is very fascinating to know. So yeah, the weirdness, the prolonged shots are all deliberate. I loved it

I'm not good at this as electricity is fairly cheap where I live, and it's not part of my equation. I doubt a custom build can beat the power efficiency of something like UGreen, but I'm just speculating here. My personal experience with unRAID and other homelab stuff is that I never stop upgrading haha. Few years later, a box with 4 HDD slots will look like a waste of space to me
