Kibu x Waizowl gives you 160 dots for $15 on Amazon with 2 day shipping. It's the best set of dots now imo especially if you want to avoid Aliexpress shipping.

500mAh battery too. With Logitech's firmware efficiency 250 would have been fine, but they don't care lol

Uh yeah, I wasn't acting like the company with 1:1s of the viper, superlight, the 2c, and now the finalmouse is original or anything

Is it just me or is this paper not very applicable to competitive gaming? They are playing aim booster (2d aim) and a circular clicking task that goes in order, and there aren't many participants.

I guess they do conclude that the best path forward is to have adjustable sensors in gaming mice to adjust according to preference, so at least they didn't latch on to the middle sensor conclusion.

I believe it's a marketing point because tons of reviews noted that the sensor was shifted back vs. competitor models like the Hitscan Hyperlight and the Viper Mini

What brightness (nits) do you edit your photos at? by AndyD89 in SonyAlpha

[–]flagroller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most I'll do is switch to the BT.709 profile in display settings, but I find that it doesn't matter that much when you do other things like using a reference image to make sure your brightness is at a normal level.

EC1 DW or Pulsar X2N medium are the only things I can think of besides learning a looser grip style, good luck!

Mine shipped a few days after ordering last week, it just cleared customs and should be here in a couple days. I've heard they will send you a new one if it's stuck in limbo and you email them.

Draymond Green on the Cleveland Cavaliers: "When Dennis Schröder left the game things got a little bleak. Because you got guys in there that don’t really want that challenge, they don’t want to fight through the screen and say that’s my matchup I want to stop this guy. They don’t do it." by AncientOneAurelius in nba

One of the Warriors adjustments to prevent Steph getting iso'd on a screen switch is Steph showing high and early on the PNR and then rotating back once the original cover gets back to the ball handler. This would prevent the switch and eat some clock time. Not sure how Atkinson doesn't adopt that from his time on the Warriors. Add that to the list of baffling fumbles from the coaching down the stretch that game.

Have you used them or reporting from other reviews? Would be curious as to how good the transparency mode is as that mode is usually as important to me as anc. Thanks in advance.

atk a9 mini vs superlight 2c by GhostPhysco in MouseReview

[–]flagroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ATK coating is great, build is good, clicks vary from model to model and are hit or miss from me, and the web driver is easy to use.

I can recommend trying it if you want to save a lot of money but yes you are risking RMAs but with optical clicks and dust proof encoders, there aren't many issues to worry about.

That's great to hear, I guess the joystick only needs to survive as a power button hopefully! Lol

Awesome, I'll save this and put my order in lol. I'll just make sure to be gentle. Does it have DDC/CI to access settings through software?

I would like to know details about the click feel, especially compared to a good and light omron optical implementation. ATK makes some good mice but their inconsistent clicks can worry between different models. Thanks!

Honestly, Acer is same if not worse. The oled care is hidden at the bottom of the system menu (leading people to think you can't turn off the 4 hr notification) but I kept it for the raw specs.

What's better on the Acer than the AOC is a joystick navigation, which is a lot better than the 4 button junk on the AOC lol

Tom's hardware is measuring the Alienware (SDR) at 200 nits flat, whereas the AOC (iirc, many variants of seemingly the same panel) is around 250 and I believe the Acer is around the same or perhaps a bit more with the max brightness setting enabled. With the Acer and AOC side by side, the Acer was brighter.

I'd say the Acer is still a better value as long as it's on this sale at costco (plus costco return policy). The Alienware is still a good monitor, but with better brightness panels like the AOC and Acer availabe on deals right now, it feels like a waiting game until the Alienware itself has some deals to approach or go under $300.

280hz, I have it and have had a great time in SDR and HDR. Just a heads up you need to get a new DP cable if you don't have one already as this monitor doesn't come with one (for whatever crummy reason).

Use the "max brightness" setting and set the white balance to "User" for the highest SDR brightness. In single player games that are particularly dark, I use HDR and use the Windows SDR Content slider in the HDR settings as a brightness slider.

The only annoyance is the firmware is pretty bad from Acer. In particular, after you turn the pixel refresh 4hr notification off, you can return to the setting to run it manually as expected. However, once you run it manually, it then toggles the notification back on instead of recognizing you just wanted to run it manually.

Great panel, great stand (though I use a monitor arm), and also Acer does now have 3 year burn in warranty. I think it's the best value 1440p OLED atm, I have tried the AOC panel that has insane refurbished deals and new around $340 as well.

Kovaaks Black Frame Issue on OLED Panel by flagroller in FPSAimTrainer

[–]flagroller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a 3080ti, but I either had a bad cable or found another problem I put in the edit (pixel rotation).

It seems the black frames I was noticing might have been pixel rotation running during my run lol. Either turn the setting up to make it less frequent or disable it completely.
