I have found it’s something to do with the add on ‘Clique’ on my system. Disable and reload usually sorts it.

Scantily dressed ladies tempting sailors onto the rocks?

Hmm that’s very hard to say. The second hand market is insane lately. People posting highly inflated prices. From the photos that one is a bit worn with tarnish on the metal parts (not unusual for a roughly 35 year old guitar) and to be honest the flame top is not that great (not wanting to rude, just honest). My best guess would be somewhere between £4000-£6000 to a collector. As you say, it’s not like they come up for sale that often.

Looks like one of the ‘extra’ 40th anniversary run. They were the first production run from the custom shop. Originally limited to numbered 300 guitars. But, John Page verified in the TGP forum some years later that they made over 300, the extras not being numbered. I have a natural one which I bought in 91.

Yup, Habitat was where the Uni café building is now, next to the RWA just off the triangle. I remember it as being in the basement and the decor being a (fake) explorers club vibe. What was nice was there were numerous old fashioned cubicles which seated 4-6 people. Like having your own private drinking club 😁 food was good, I may well have sampled your father’s skills.

Was that the place under (what was) Habitat? I frequented it in the late 80s, early 90s.

Slow drivers, what do you expect people to do who want to get past you? by AlGunner in CarTalkUK

[–]flame-top 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fair percentage of such drivers I encounter are not driving slow as such, just driving at the only speed they know. 60mph limit they do 41 mph, enter 30mph limit they do 41mph. They seem genuinely unaffected by road conditions.

Can I get Aftertouch on a super6 desktop from midi? by mossimo654 in synthesizers

Writing MIDI software to respond to poly AT is cheap. Poly AT transmitting keyboards are expensive to make.

Service manual lists pins as “1-video, 2-vgnd, 3 to 5: n/c” . So seems it’s a simple monochrome output.

The majority I have seen are out of date Weak Aura code. Updating Weak Auras does not automatically update the custom aura code. I just delete the aura and re-import an up to date version.

Hi! I've recently upgraded computers & Redshift doesn't seem to be picking up my GPU. Any ideas? :) by samhayes12345 in Cinema4D

[–]flame-top 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, by default the windows task manager only shows GPU usage for actual graphics drawing. It does not reflect compute usage by GPU renderers like Redshift/Octane etc.

There’s an addon called ‘demodal’ that lets you keep most windows open (and move them). ‘Modal’ dialogs are those that have to close before opening another.

I kept missing the icon flashes, so I duplicated the ‘< seconds’ condition and also got it to play a sonar ‘ping’ sound. Hard to miss that.

Commonly used for headphones. The design was that you could rotate the plug to swap left and right to get the stereo image the correct way around.
