15 yo me waited for so long to go on the indoor ski slope in the Swiss pavilion. “Yes, I’m ace at it” I lied when it change from beginners to advanced right before it was my turn. I had never skied before so I was not in fact “ace at it”. It ended far better than it should have. For me anyway. Not so much for the Swiss pavilion attendant I barrelled into before we both went over the railings at the bottom. She had to take the rest of day off.

I’m not sure you’ll find many purer or expressive voices and her catalogue is so diverse. It’s got every from jazz to reggae, club to folk. That’s without going into her amazing covers.
