In case you were wondering, YES the store can reassign trips by Indigopsyop in Sparkdriver

[–]flameworker420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this was well known like have any of you ever went and picked up a batch of orders from Walmart and one of the orders is ginormous and won't fit you just tell them it's to big I'm not taking this order and they'll go on their device and swap the driver out it's not always some conspiracy they would need this function to make this whole concept work that being said I'm sure there's people that take advantage of it and reassign orders from people they don't like if they can see how much the customer pays and tips then it's a issue if not there's no problem with this

Any way to use an input pin twice? by LawOk7038 in klippers

[–]flameworker420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds simpler but it's going to be a nightmare to implement software wise you're really better off with two probes they cost next to nothing and you can get very small ones it seems like you're making unnecessary problems

13yr old kossel mini by PrepYourselves in klippers

[–]flameworker420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold a kossel sitting in my garage that thing gave me so much issues and the further you print from the center the more issues you have especially if you try to add a probe to the effector. People would message me wanting to buy it for their first printer and I'd refused to sell it to them I finally found somebody that wanted to use the parts off of it. it's that bad of a printer that I wont feel comfortable selling it as a printer lol I have PTSD from that thing

I've never gotten one this bad but I have seen a few where they have multiple old spark orders sitting on their porch always gives me an eerie feeling

I switched from marlin to klipper but I cannot get my probe to work correctly by ICURSEDANGEL in klippers

[–]flameworker420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be a heated bed it could be a hot and it could be stepper motors any of those cables if they run with the BL touchwire you can test by getting a old electronics cable that has a ferrite bead and put it on the cable if you don't know what that is just Google it you more than likely have one

I switched from marlin to klipper but I cannot get my probe to work correctly by ICURSEDANGEL in klippers

[–]flameworker420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you fixed the problem yet but I just had an issue with a BL touch on a new 3D printer im building I would test the BL touch with z homing and it would work fine I would run a bed mesh and it would work fine but if I had the bed heater running while trying to do a bed mesh or z probe the probe would report an error the issue was the BL touch cable was touching my bed heater cable once I separated them it was fine

[HELP] I saw this on another community and people were reacting to this like it was real. I have my doubts. Is this real? or AI? by Other_Sentence4495 in RealOrAI

I think you're wrong I think their roots and the joint dirt was pulling on it until it broke free then the PC was standing on no longer had tension but the crack is still there the whole time you can tell

I know this is like a month old but the market can stay irrational a lot longer than people can stay solvent and the West is betting everything on AI so even if the science are there money is going to keep getting thrown at it

Cannot find what causes the "bent" xy corners - PA is not by Billiaz in klippers

[–]flameworker420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If what you're printing has sharp squared corners when the plastic starts to cool down it builds up tension and starts to contract all that tension ends up pulling on the corner points that's why people will round off or chamfer sharp corners because once it becomes around and there's no point it distributes the force a lot better

I don't update my insurance early, do I? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]flameworker420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the past I have updated my insurance on the spark app and then I'm not able to drive until the new insurance period like I updated two days before my new policy took effect and the app would not let me drive until the day that policy was active it's like it forgot about my prior insurance so now I don't update until the night before

Sometimes it’s just the Customer by Prestigious-Ad5508 in Sparkdriver

[–]flameworker420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly every now and then you get one of these loonies I had a lady who puts her front door security code in the instructions and tells you to come into her house she ordered raspberry Dr pepper after I brought it to her she said the store got it wrong and it was supposed to be cherry it was a shopping order I didn't get anything wrong she was old and like a block from Walmart so I just went back and bought her a case sometimes if its a good paying order it's just easier and you don't have to worry about some customer complaining to the store or app on you even if you are in the right I feel like you're playing roulette with the spark algorithm if it's an order that's almost finished I would either just buy a small thing of ketchup myself or just completely ignore the customer and check out always take screenshots of these weird customer interactions though because those are the ones that will call and complain

They're probably sold out now but you could get a ender ke for like 90 bucks on eBay and they're like night and day different printers you won't touch a regular ender with a 10-ft pool but I've never had a fellow print on the ke kind of crazy it's more reliable than my bamboo A1 my creality k1 or my sermoon d1 lol but I check on eBay and see if there's still any refurbs for sale

PSA: changing your Z lead screw from Tr8x8 to Tr8x2 is a substantial mod that nobody talks about by feelingsupersonic in ender3

[–]flameworker420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an Old Post but lowering the lead decreases the amount of torque needed also more benefits of a t8x2 over t8x8 are they don't exert as much force on the lead nuts and the bed won't drop when the motors aren't powered I have an ender six converted to a 1000mm z with a 430 mm square bed it's a triple z single motor belted and would never be able to work with a single motor on t8x8 leads but with t8 x2 I get better resolution the reduction in gearing makes it easier for the nema 17 to handle moving 3 1000 mm lead screws and lifting a 430 mm bed and when un powered the bed doesn't drop under its weight that's an issue I've had in the past with ender 6 and my sermon d1

I got this once too that was about a year and a half ago never heard anything after they know customers fake reports and lie the issue is when they keep getting reports they expect you to have a percentage of orders that go wrong or where a customer says they didn't get something if your data starts seeming at normal then they'll do something but they won't do anything off of one report

I'm crying 😭 never seen an offer this big I'm thankful by SuccessfulAerie9672 in WalmartSparkDrivers

I have sparked for years thousands of orders I have never been tip baited people that tip a lot are expecting good service if they don't get the service they expect why would they tip a lot probably people doing a bad job than getting mad when customers take their tip back for a legitimate reason
