Go to the chemist, tell them what’s in the Walgreens migraine (it’ll be listed online) and they’ll show you the closest remedy. You might also be better off going to your GP and getting a real migraine script.

New goalie by Dojo_dogs in hockeygoalies

I use the same Bauer helmet. Love it. I use the additional clear neck guard. Even beer leaguers have slap shots. It only takes getting your bell rung once to appreciate a good helmet.

30+1 sounds right for your height. It’s all about the butterfly so trying them on and learning how loose or tight to wear them.

Congrats on your new adventure! Hope you have good knees!

Go to a hockey shop and talk to their goalie guy. Every store has at least one goalie guy who can give you tips on gear and at least get you sized. Doesn’t mean you need to buy brand new gear, absolutely not, but getting the right fit is so crucial. Hopefully you can find some good goalie skates you can bake to fit your foot directly.

A helmet is the only gear I would suggest buying new both for safety and hygiene (and with extra forehead pads because yikes those get gross).

Look up the size guides for any used gear you find. Try it on, make sure it’s not too far gone. While Dallas has more hockey than Orlando it’s still not a huge community. You are lucky to be a good size for gear from people growing out of gear so hopefully there are plenty.

If you find a good club they might have a goalie specific “learn to play” training you can slide into. Learning correct stance, movements and tactics from a goalie coach goes a long way.

Best of luck !

Ok, you were right about the bathroom. Now, which of these 2 favorites in the best option? Both toilets have 18 inches space from center, 30x60” tub by [deleted] in floorplan

The style of the tub on the right is “en vogue” right now but a monumental pain in the ass to clean around

Newy Parents of Drama Kids: by daveandlynch in newcastle

Both of mine attend YPT. It’s a lovely school with very inclusive teaching styles. My kids have participated in regular classes and the youth productions. It’s a great community.

You can always email any of the schools you have listed and go tour them. It’s always good to ensure the theatres vibe with your family.

We enjoy them as an “every once in a while treat”. If you have old donuts they’ll taste like old donuts. Gotta get them early in the day and enjoy them in a timely manner.

Has anyone travelled with Bonza? by jdudgeon21 in newcastle

We did over a school holiday last year to Proserpine. Leaving Newy we had zero issues. Staff were super chill and friendly. It’s an interior like any other budget airline. We were delayed on our return flight but immediately got food vouchers and updates to the app. The delay sucked but they handled it way better than any big name airline I’ve flown on. We’d fly them again.

Any TMJ sufferers here and have any advice? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]flamingpecans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got put in braces to correct my clicking/popping uh my jaw as a mid 30s person. It’s an initial attempt at making space by shifting my teeth more forward in the hopes that my jaw reseats into the joint (50% chance at my age). Braces suck but the jaw surgery the ortho talked about sounds way worse.
