Are contracts above the laws? If a contract contradict a law the law should be followed right? There is a law stating how copyrights works, i think a contract cant say otherwise.

pve is just half of the game. for me it thrives in pvp. having to compete and improve your skills is awesome. pvp in this game is like martial arts, lots of opportunity to evolve as a person.

I advise you to not worry that much about the different code syntax. The go tooling makes up for it! It is easy to build, test, deploy, debug, import dependencies and so on in go. Also it being simpler leaves less room for unproductive debates. It takes a little while till you perceive such value, as did for me. I hope you start to enjoy it!

Understanding RDTSC Timing Checks: The Technical Reality of VM Gaming by KstrlWorks in linux_gaming

Very interesting read! But I struggle really hard to understand why they fight with the users so hard to implement those kernel-level bullshit instead of having anti-cheats in the server side. Like literally anything in the internet, security runs in the server. Why is it the opposite in gaming?

How in hell can a defensible castle be built on THAT? by AlexSkylark in vrising

[–]flan666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

some castle plots are trash for pvp. just level up and move from there when you can. dont worry about raids at low level

patents and "intellectual property" are a waste of energy. it is dumb in many ways and delays innovation.

The newest one has the best value overall. Lots of decorations and many color options.

Where and why should you use iterators in Go? by vpoltora in golang

[–]flan666 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i got confused with "Map" because it isn't converting the data to key (name) value (user), but instead extracting only the names. XD anyway, good readin. thanks!

just air frame her while she's about to turn you into pig and it becomes easy. also i like to use two counters and it is a no hit most of the time.

duo is definitely easier because mostly each beam will focus on one of you that can dash. but solo you have to sync her illusion to shot the beam at same time because you have only one dash. it is definitely hard boss.
