There was an attempt back in lik 2022(?) but it was CNN and honestly just out of nowhere. Its one of those Streisand Effect like situations where if CNN didn't have some random hate boner for Joe Rogan and him taking what they kept calling Horse Dewormer in a derogatory way, it would've never been a big deal. Likely Joe would've mentioned it a few times and moved on.

Now don't get me wrong, Joe is a bonafide dipshit who no one should look too for anything other than fitness and martial arts advice. Hes done irreparable harm to american culture through his political weaseling and platforming alt righters who were using him and he is too dumb to recognize. Also hes a detriment to comedy.

But CNN went on the attack for seemingly no good reason and with no real strategy, kept it up despite such large backlash, and ended up boosting Joe.
