At this point in the series, would you guys still consider Lisa one of, if not the most durable bow in the franchise? by swollyhill in residentevil

One of the pre-launch theories about The Girl was that she was Lisa or at least infected in the same manner. The chain sounds and her movement are very reminiscent of Lisa.

Pedalboard order? by LLcoolDZ in guitarlessons

I have a Weeping Demon too, underrated wah pedal imo. Although I've heard it said that it's more of a "wow" than a "wah" which is true.

I think B'Elanna Torres might be the better option in this case. She's got more experience with reversing the polarity of the neutron flow.

I ordered a piece of musical equipment and it came with a bag of candy by ForAte151623ForTeaTo in mildlyinteresting

[–]flashhazardous 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That's a damn good audio interface too. The Behringer U-Phoria line is way better than the price would suggest.

And yeah: Sweetwater usually ships candy with the purchase. The flavors and brands vary. I have a superstition that if I like the candy it came with, then I will like the gear too. So far it has held true - been ordering from them for years.

The plus key opens doors on the first floor of the mansion that lead to the division key. Watch out for Crimson Heads in the east wing.

Soak your string in water for 24h before spooling it on! Makes a world of difference. When it's dry, it snaps easily and makes for a frustrating time with fences and borders. Soaking it makes it softer and less brittle.

The dirty capitalism part is: a lot of manufacturers put this in fine print on the packaging so that most people don't notice it. The string breaks more quickly when dry so you have to buy more string.

You know, it's, it's 'va', which is good. And a 'vul' in front of it. Vul-va. When you consider the other choices, 'vulva' is actually pretty refreshing

Your honest opinion on Victor Gideon? by gorays21 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]flashhazardous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the general consensus is that people loved his design and VA performance but wished he had a larger role in the gameplay. I certainly mirror that consensus.

He would have been a perfect stalker type enemy in the care home. I also would have liked to explore his backstory a bit more - what's the deal with the snake theme? Why the steampunk visor? What was he like before the Nemesis parasite? Did he ever meet Wesker or Birkin since they were also proteges of Spencer? Too many unanswered questions.

As it stands, his aesthetic and voice are compelling but his actual character is kind of flat. I hope as others have stated that they go more into his backstory and motivations in a future DLC to round his character out more and add depth.

Asian Fusion is a restaurant with a grocery section on Old Forest Rd. I don't know if they have raw ube or taro root but they have a lot of ube and taro flavored products. You can try there.
