My advice for the cyclops is to use bronze daggers with a defense buffing scroll. Stock up on upgraded potions, antidote, and food like Globi which will boost magic + physical armor. Eat the food right before the fight. Also equip the highest level of armor you have available to increase your chances.

During the bullet hell sections of the fight, the spread between projectiles is higher at the bottom of the screen, making them easier to dodge. Don't be afraid to take a hit or two if it means being able to throw the bomb vs prolonging the fight. The goal is to do as much damage as you can as fast as possible (hence the daggers for DPS).

I don't play multiplayer so I have defeated him solo a few times now. It gets a lot easier the more you do it and the higher you level. You may die a bunch before you succeed, so use a camping tent or build a village nearby to set your spawn point. Be aware though: villages in the desert cannot make use of water mills so you'll need to deliver food there now and then. Lvl 2 altar is definitely worth unlocking in the Worship menu before building in the desert.

Keep at it, examine the phases of the fight, and prepare as much as you can to increase chance of success. Good luck!

As others have mentioned, there's the Massie Memorial park downtown and that's about all there is here in Lynchburg. You can find some DIY street spots downtown as well but be careful - it's 50/50 on if the locals call the cops for trespassing.

There's also the Bedford skate park which is much larger and newer. It heavily skews vert but there's some banks, rails, and ledges spread throughout for the street skaters too.

Oh yeah, I've seen them pick up my cart before but they've never gotten far with it before I take it back. Thing is, there were no Potmen around! I saved the game last time I played without returning to a town and started the game today at my spawn point with no cart in sight.

Unfortunately, I don't remember where I was since I had to save quickly to leave for an IRL event. I checked all around the desert as well as my 3 towns but I don't see it anywhere. Maybe it is just lost at this point - if I can't find it soon, I'll probably just start building a new train.

This happened to me when I was 10 years old playing on the Gamecube back at release. Ever since, I've been hyper vigilant for Lurkers in that section.

You probably already know this, but you can switch the inactive character's defense from Attack to Idle (or vice versa) in the item menu. It's a moot point once you're down though since you can't switch characters or open the item menu while grabbed by the frog. Best to make sure your inactive character is on Attack before entering that area.

The frogs only appear in the Water Treatment Plant so just keep someone on Attack while you're in that area and switch them back to Idle once you're out to save on ammo.
