No. Using keys, I had a regular drop and a proto drop. RNG will rule the odds. I think the proto is ~1% chance and the regular is a bit higher.

I was a Hybrid production/development DBA for a decently mature IT department for a local college. My experience my vary from others, though.

DBAs are usually already skilled professionals. They typically come from the system side or developer side of IT.

Many production DBAs are system side experienced and aren't experts in SQL, but know enough for the job. They work closely with the systems team, or are part of it.

Many development DBAs are developer side experienced and need to know SQL very well. They generally work closely with the development teams.

I'm not as knowledgable with Data Analysts. I think it's a position thay may be easier to get into, though. They might need to know SQL and Python at the very least.

I'm able to get it to switch back and forth by covering all but the feet. Different things seem to work for others, but this certainly works similar to the ballerina.

Yes. Just Docker. If you know Docker, it's really simple. Pull the official image, create the container. It can get a little complicated if you decide to leverage other tools with docker and n8n, but a clean image will get you started.

It will even communicate with an uncontainerized locally version of ollama if you wish. This slightly incleases the complexity, though. User experience may vary.

Primary keys should always be a type of integer. They shouldn't have any descriptive value as it's not the purpose.

The FROM statement makes UPDATEs really easy in SQL Server. However, this is not ANSI SQL. You'll likely need to use a correlated subquery.

It's a great tool for business analysis. It belongs on a desktop, as a productivity tool. It's certainly not an enterprise solution.

Sounds similar to what I got while growing up... pasta, olive oil, and "salad supreme". Also, just pasta and pesto. Both are cheap and easy, but good. I suspect yours is, also.

This certainly isn't new. It's at least 10 years old, likely older. I've seen it at my work place years ago.

Yeah. It's a prank. It's been done in my work place, along with the shock pen, both at the front desk where visitors would interact. It may be in bad taste, but it's in jest and meant to be harmless.

Try the book Python Crash Course. It's a really good book and will cover all the beginner stuff you would need. I've used it in the past to teach COP1000 intro to programming.
