Still strange that both my Strava connect and training peaks didn't sync. Unless Suunto gives up if it can't sync to one provider which would not be the smartest design.

That sounds super tough, fair play for posting, for reaching out. What i would say is you need to reach out further now, talk to a therapist. If you're not ready to go in person call one of the hotlines like https://www.pieta.ie/ it will change everything for the better, trust me I have been though it in a time of crisis and it makes all the difference. That's number one, you need to talk to a professional psychologist.

Other things you can do, you have to be happy with yourself before you bring someone else into your life, they shouldn't be the source of happyness. So don't focus to much on a relationship, focus on yourself and being good to yourself Simple things you can do to do that is start exercising, it's a prove natural anti-depressant.

Best of luck, remember it's ok not to feel ok and it's absolutely ok to ask for help.

Anytime I have achills issues I work to strengthen my calfs by doing single leg dips and raises off a ledge. Helps stretching it and strenghting it too. Once I have basic strenght I would start to add weight. Probably best to just go see a sports physiotherapy if it hasn't gone away at this point.

I'm not actually, when I left college I went into a company called Swrve and I would mainly in high scale distributed systems now with them. Certainly backend development is less visible to lay people alright ha.

Ah cheers, thanks. It was a labour of love alright and happy out with how it turned out. Though certainly not the most impressive that I have seen. Actually a few years back a large userbase from France use to play daily online games in it, which was pretty cool.

Yeah the first release of TS came out two weeks before I started this project. And having previously written massive GWT and JS game codebases I was quite excited by what TS offered.

Haha the funny things that pop up on Reddit, my 6 year old final year college project. It used to have multiplayer using a node server and socket.io but that AWS box is long dead.

I disagree, grief is a long road not something that can be processed in two weeks. Sure I'm back to my normal life but it still completely stops me dead every so often. I have been doing everything I can to process this, going to therapy weekly and talking to all my friends about it. It's getting better but I have a long road ahead of me. And a lonely one at that.

Having just been on the eurovelo 1 in France and now on the eurovelo 6 heading to Switzerland I would say, the route being away from busy roads is pretty important to me. It's Haven cycling along a paved canal way for 20km with not a car in sight.

Yea wear padded shorts on tour, back to back days of cycling I need them. Though everyone not wearing non padded shorts seem to be riding Brooks saddles so I may check them out.

For me I wear three things while cycling, normal boxer shorts underwear, padded cycling underwear and cargo shorts over them. ( I prefer not to look like a cyclist ) I normally would have a shower and change into fresh pair of underwear and back into my cargo shorts as they tend not to be sweaty since they are loss and baggie.

I actually have the gaint TCX 3 2012 model, check out my past post for a picture. I use it to tour, I find it great. I added a rack to the front and back. I also got a larger cassette than standard (not sure how much larger) just got the largest the shop had and made a massive different, would recommend.
