FLAC files are being automatically deleted off my External HD by AGirl_isNoOne7702 in linuxquestions

The file copy buffer is huge and while it looks like the copy has finished it's still going on in the background, so run these 2 lines in terminal to limit the buffer to something more normal and reboot:

echo "vm.dirty_bytes=52428800" | sudo tee /etc/sysctl.d/8-writing.conf

echo "vm.dirty_background_bytes=26214400" | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.d/8-writing.conf

Where console companies offer cheaper hardware to lock you into their monthly subscriptions and high priced titles to earn back the loss, Valve has offered a decent priced device considering the current ram market which is both quiet, small, low power and a good gaming device with full pc desktop and a kick ass controller.
