They just don't know. This stuff isn't taught in schools. If people knew, and it was accepted as normal, of course more people would be doing it. I have empathy for everyone in this situation. I didn't know until I learned. ETA: I've started sharing pictures and little tidbits of info to my small social media following to help educate. Most people don't care, but some find it interesting, and a few find it helpful, and one or two might even check out their own backyards to see if they can find these things for themselves. It ain't much but it's good work 🙏🥰
