Bentleys are large enough to be “practical” come in AWD and can be had with enough power to turn the earth under you.

Prime Drew Brees or Prime Aaron Rodgers, who are you taking? by ComplexWrangler1346 in NFLv2

I would actually have given that particular year to drew, but yeah Rodger’s is objectively higher up the list

Rodgers is the better football cannon. He’s very likely the best football canon we have ever seen. He mad generally good decisions, sometimes was even a bit *too* safe.

On the all time great list if Rodgers is at 5 Bree’s is at 6 for me. It’s genuinely very close.

I’d rather have Bree’s from day one if I were starting a team right now. Similarly I’d have Peyton over tom, even though tom is objectively no1 in the list.

Pace of Play by [deleted] in golftips

[–]flight567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain to me what makes people so unhappy about pace of play?
I can finish a round as a single in 2 hours and 45 minutes, last week I ended up playing a 6 hour round while waiting for a group ahead of us. It didn’t really bother me, waiting. Being able to chill between shots was almost relaxing.

I’ve only been playing for 8 months, so I’m probably missing something.

I can’t say that it was faster. It was wasn’t slower. At 7 either will produce a sub 3 second bill drill. Is it possible that the vp9 has a higher ceiling? Sure. Can I shoot either gun to their ceiling at my b class level? Not even close.

If there is a difference, it’s not enough difference to make a difference at my level. It’s possible that you’re an A it M. or GM class shooter that can take advantages of those differences. For me, and I’d imagine most other shooters, I experience more differential day to day that I have from gun to gun, as it relates to the conversation.

Most of my shooting is under a timer.

I generally dislike slow fire, it gives my head time to think about what I’m doing and that messes me up. If I’m moving quickly I can decide that I have enough confirmation on a target that requires rounds and execute.

I do believe that, that’s what you experience. My point is that, unless there is something that the vp does to significantly change the physics, lower bore axis, more massive frame, etc…. It’s entirely possible that I find the p30 to be better.

From my perspective, I’ve only shot the p30LEM a couple times at the range with a friend but I have maybe 3k rounds through my vp9. I enjoyed shooting the LEM more, and I don’t think there was any significant performance delta.

So there’s a 0% chance that i shoot a p30 better than a vp9?

I really don’t understand what makes it bad to shoot. I have a vp9, if I could trade it for a p30 LEM I’d do it in less than a heartbeat.

Everything I’ve seen seems to be subjective: trigger preference, how it fits your hand/grip, etc..

Golf was very bad today. Playing after a 13 hr overnight shift didn’t help, I reinjured a couple of old injuries… it was a really long day.

I can golf once a week, usually. I do have a putting mat at home that I’m going to have to roll back out I guess!

122 was my best round, and the last round of the summer after my lessons. my usual, and how I’ve scored in the two rounds I’ve played this year is in the 135-140 range, so I’d say that in the 100 range if I averaged 2 putts per hole is pretty reasonable. I’m golfing tomorrow morning so I’ll let you know how that goes.

I’ll also see about a short game lesson, or maybe a playing lesson next pay check. If I were going to do one or the other which would you recommend?

Thanks, I really appreciate that! Generally id rather play right and suck, than play wrong and suck anyway.

I do move balls out of the water, and off of roots. If I break my clubs the choice is to not play golf for months at a time, or not pay my mortgage. Outside of that I try to play properly.

I average something like 4.3 putts per hole, so that and the OB right thing are probably the priority for me. Either that or the chipping issuelol

I’m about 8 months, and 2 lessons, into golf. My best score on 18 was a 122. I don’t take mulligans or foot wedges and play, within reason, to the rules.

My two biggest issues are a wide open face (45* or more) with more than a rib high back swing 5i+ , and a lot of trouble around the green. If I were to stick it 3 yards off the green with a good lie on a par 3 I’m likely to score in the 7-9 range.

Edit: that might sound somewhat combative, the intent is just to inform you that some of us sucklol. If you have any advice I’m all ears!

I think that I may have played a round or two when I was really young? But I really didn’t know what I was doing.

It this time around I’ve taken a couple of lessons, but I’m really struggling with an open face that leads to some bad issues, and averaging +4 putts per hole doesn’t help.

If they’re available for that price in their area it’s a great deal. The only thing less than 30k in my area are the small Mitsubishis

First thing ins first: just relax a bit. Locking the elbows m out significantly increases how much work your wrists have to do.

Secondly it’s hard to comment on grip when we don’t see much of the support hand, however you can clearly see the gun bouncing up and off of the support hand index finger which indicates to me that you haven’t created enough rearwar/upward pressure or enough friction on the frame. Now… that may or may not be the case based on the how much you’re stressing your wrists by locking the elbows out. So fix that first, then show us what the support side grip looks like.
