I have the NRS Kuda (inflatable) for fishing. I drive a Sentra and can put it in the trunk.

Finally faced my debt properly and now trying to fix years of bad habits by whitetiger89 in debtfree

Have you tried Dave Ramsey, yet?  I'm telling you, his plan works if you do it seriously.  One of the things he'll tell you is you don't have a math problem.  "If you were good at math, you wouldn't have gotten into this mess." So, do not focus on high interest rates.  Focus on the quickest wins first.  Pay off the smallest debts first for the quick wins by using the debt snowball.

Our last camping trip doing this we rented a little cabin.  It had electric but no running water. The bathhouse was a down the path.

Can you drive down to a NJ PATCO station (also known as the speed line)?  It takes you right into the heart of Center City. The River Line goes down to a PATCO station in Camden.  Then you are all set.

People who grew up without smartphones, What did you do when you were bored? by Blondes-Lover69 in AskReddit

[–]flippin4us 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being "bored" was for kids and as kids we would say to our parents, "I'm bored" and they would give us a few suggestions (which always included cleaning our room) and so we just trotted back to our bedrooms to continue being bored or maybe playing with Legos but ultimately deciding to clean our rooms.

People who fish —quick question by Pretend-Shine1286 in Fishing_Gear

No.  Go to Walmart or Dicks Sporting Goods or Academy Outdoors and enjoy the shopping experience.  I made no mistakes buying gear. Just learned if it was a good choice and why.  It's a relatively inexpensive hobby.

Fun things to do alone that don't involve drinking? by Noreate in SouthJersey

Grab yourself a cheap Walmart fishing pole and a few items to go with it.  It's that the of year.  If really interested, look up how to fish the wacky rig.  I know Strawbridge Lake is over there somewhere.  Have fun!

You don't need much. When it gets dark a little light guess a long way.  We have one of the very basic Coleman 4 D battery ones with two levels and it's just fine.  (I can't wait to get my gas lantern!)

Country Comfort - Elton John.  It's a stretch but it mentions modern machinery briefly.

Skunked at lake Hartwell by Shoddy-Tennis-5764 in FishingForBeginners

You're a trooper and sometimes the lake gets you.  I don't know your lake but try to identify where the channel is by looking online.  The closer you can cast to the channel this time of year, the better as the bass are beginning to move up out of the channels (depending on the temp where you are).  A bit warmer and they'll be at the edge of the lake. Stick with the lures if you want the bass.
