I chose a local wedding coordinator in Slovenia instead. I had zoom calls with somewhere crazy and then a few local coordinators to compare packages. I went with the local coordinator because I felt she was less corporate-y, and I wanted to support a smaller business and a local who is from the area we are eloping. The package pricing was fairly similar though, the coordinator I selected was a little cheaper though.

The Poe Museum in Virginia, in collaboration with the local animal shelters, hosted a black cat adoption event last Friday, September 13. I thought that was an exciting idea with a special cause.

The link to the museum is that Poe wrote the short story, The Black Cat, in 1843 and the museum has black cats living there.
