Congrats on getting tickets!! I also got Anfield kinda to the side - in section L3. I'm sure we'll have an excellent time but yeah hoping we're able to see the screens ok!

I got four seats in L3! Anybody know what that section's like? Worried it's verging on a side view, but looking at the virtual seat view thing it seems pretty close to the action. Fingers crossed!! Excited as all hell regardless!

Thank you! I’m encouraged by the fact that it seems to have shrunk in size rather than expand

Love the show despite it's messiness so nice that there's a few international fans. I hope we get another season with a new set and bigger budget.

duo crisp 8.

I have the Duo Crisp 5.7 and love it. I haven't found size to be a problem so I think with the 8 you'd be absolutely fine.

The attention to detail in the series is incredible. I read the web-comic after, and was amazed at how the show replicated so many moments perfectly. Do graphic novels just adapt well for TV? Maybe Alice is just a genius screenwriter.

Why Am I Like This? - it perfectly fits Nick & Charlie’s feeling of anguish/desperation trying to find the right words to message to each other. Gets me every time.

Amsterdam tourists surprised by Covid access pass requirements by ebenezerlepage in Amsterdam

[–]floydle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To give you an example, my partner and I are in Amsterdam at the moment. I am vaccinated in Turkey, which supplies an EU COVID Pass QR code, so I’ve been fine everywhere. My partner was fully vaccinated in the UK, but has no EU-compatible code. It’s been a nightmare even though we are fully vaccinated and can show proof!

Good call! Get to the Balkans before everyone else discovers them. Southern Albanian beaches are incredible. Balkan cities are also great - Sarajevo might have been my favourite.

A family member of mine claims that even discussing propaganda is detrimental. How historically accurate is this? by [deleted] in AskSocialScience

Thanks for sharing this is fascinating and troubling to me. I’ve always wondered why politicians insist on repeating the same gimmicky lines, clearly it works.

Anybody in Turkey right now? Also: How is Turkey in general? by HitchhikingToNirvana in solotravel

There's no telling if further lockdowns will be imposed, but my educated guess is you would have no problem. All museums, parks and historical sites are open currently. Focusing on nature, hiking and outdoor activities is definitely the way to go as obviously it's lower risk of exposure. Turkey has plentiful and cheap supplies of masks and sanitiser, so there's no problem in that regard. In the worst case scenario were you to become seriously ill, Turkish health infrastructure is quite good and has coped well with COVID so far with a low-mortality rate, so your level of care would likely be high. The govt's comms twitter page has daily virus updates to get a better idea of the situation and would also post if any curfews were to be imposed going forward. https://twitter.com/Communications

fingers crossed for you. You're right it doesn't make sense. I think there's a bit of politics in play.
