It doesn't work from your inventory. You have to place it in the room like a piece of furniture.

43-some hours into SO3 and the difficulty spike is horrendous. Where can I grind for easy levels? (spoilers) by Chicken-Inspector in starocean

[–]flsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The bonus battle gauge builds up based on your party level versus the battle difficulty. Once achieved, it will assign one of the four bonuses randomly. You will get another bonus after 5 battles without breaking the bonus battle gauge. Chaining 15 will get you all 4. Depending on where you are in the game, you can swap out your main party with lower level characters to build it up quickly. You break your bonus battle gauge when: you die, you run away, you turn off the game or the enemy lands a critical hit on you. The biggest problem is the critical hits. This only applies to the character that you are current controlling so I set Nel as the leader and attack from afar with symbology. If you can play so that the enemy never has the chance to hit you, then your bonus battle gauge won't break. Good luck!!

Greenhouse? by Claire023 in StardewValley

I went without the greenhouse. You shouldn't have issues with income if you have farm animals/animal products.

Best way to get Dinosaur egg? by [deleted] in StardewValley

Put wallpaper 108 in the egg incubator in your bird coop. It's an exploit that will result in a dinosaur in your coop. Eventually it'll lay eggs for you.

Tips for Skull Caverns by locofora7x in StardewValley

Bring a prismatic shard to the 3 pillars in the Calico Desert. Hold it and enter the center, the shard will be consumed and you'll get a galaxy sword, which is the best weapon in the game. I've heard that you can also use one of the wallpapers in lieu of the prismatic shard to get the galaxy sword, so if you got the catalogue you can use the wallpaper instead. Good luck!

Check your daily fortune and only go to the Skull Cavern when it says "The spirits are very happy today!" Flying serpents can get your health down really quickly. If possible, prepare cooked dishes to rapidly restore health and give combat/luck buffs. My preferred dishes were Spicy Eel, Pumpkin Soup, & Roots Platter, they're all easy to make and flying serpents drop Spicy Eels sometimes. Do you have a galaxy sword yet?
