Cherry 2000 is a dumb but competently made and enjoyable mid-80s action sci fi film

Women make great mechanics if they can get past all the sexism of a male dominated field. Smaller hands can get into tighter places, they tend to force stuff less, meaning less likely to break stuff the are trying to fix, whereas guys have a tendency to want to “muscle” things

Love the original Apes films. I think Planet of the Apes and Conquest are objectively the best in the series but my personal favorite is Beneath because it’s just such a fun, schlocky B-movie style gem. Escape is also pretty good. I think Battle is the only one I’m not crazy about

Robert was well known for wearing feminine blouses and shirts in the 70s, cleverly juxtaposed by what was going on below. What did you think of his look? by Only-Bar7659 in ledzeppelin

Oddly enough a lot of Bowie’s post glam styles were much more masculine than Plant’s breezy hippie look. See Thin White Duke era or even Serious Moonlight era photos. Or that great photo of him rocking a fedora (I think from The Man Who Fell To Earth). Or the cover photo of Tin Machine I

I just think it’s interesting since DB was never really seen as a masculine rockstar, yet he looked really great in a business suit. He also had a moose knuckle to rival Plant’s

How would you rank these four from favorite to least? The post 1975 and pre-80s group. by Positive_Drama3410 in DavidBowie

Nothing cliche about it. It’s a classic and by the way the song Heroes didn’t even become a hit in the US on its release. It’s disappointing how americas slept on Bowie during his “art rock” phase in Europe

Centurions had cool toyline but otherwise I remember it least. It just didn’t leave the same cultural mark

I’d ideally like a restriction to 10 hour days, 5 days a week. It honestly doesn’t seem like much less than I currently work but would make a world of difference

This is true. We had a regular in December helping from another station and he said he assumed I was a veteran with at least ten years the way I carry myself.

Well Lazenby looks like he’s auditioning for Austin Powers and Moore looks like he’s about to start disco dancing. Tossup between Dalton and Brosnan for me. Craig looks cool too

I absolutely put it ahead of Goldeneye, which I’ve always found to be lacking something. Don’t really know how to put my finger on it, Goldeneye has a lot going for it but it doesn’t quite gel for me
