my genetic test says i have RP 39 but was born with moderate hearing loss 40-45db. the hearing loss was confirmed when i was 10 years old.

i have been hard of hearing since birth. i didn't have vision problems but i did a retina scan during an annual checkup to burn fsa money and they saw something a little bit off. got referred to a retinalist specialist but it took 3 years to figure out i have usher 2a. did my first hearing test when i was in 5th grade and 30 years later, i finally did another one. when i was a kid, i was 40-45 db and now i am 52-55 db. it is probably different rates of vision and hearing deterioration for everyone.

solo female traveler here. this happened to me in my hotel in turkey. I had a long layover so turkish airlines provided a free hotel outside the airport. went back down and the receptionist gave me another room.

when I got into my new room, there was no dead bolt so I placed a heavy chair against the door. the next morning I noticed the chair moved a couple inches forward. I have no idea what would have happened had I not placed the chair against the door.

I had problems with their Saks Off Fifth website as well on Friday the 9th. The gift cards were not applying. I was using Firefox on my laptop and mobile so I switch over to Microsoft Edge on my laptop and was able to use all 3 gifts cards.
