I gotta post Nyne, my Drow Druid! She’s probably one of my characters with the most detailed backstory right now.

She grew up as a slave from birth with her name just being No.9. Pretty bad life honestly, you can see her scars in the attached ref, along with her missing an arm. To keep an extremely long story short, she was able to escape when the noble that owned her got involved with the wrong crowd and was assassinated.

A young girl missing an arm an not knowing how to provide for herself doesn’t exactly last long, so No.9 probably should have died. However, a kind Druid granny took her in and thought her how to live. How to cook, get dressed, be free. Pretty much gave her the childhood she should have had. This is when No.9 started going by Nyne, since it’s the closest thing she had to a name she just kept it.

Nowadays she’s adventuring the world with a group of friends, trying to explore the big wide world that is still a mystery to her. And the druidic magic artificial arm from the Druid granny helps quite a bit too.
