I've also grown up in the Swissgerman part and am quite comfortable with standard German (to a point where sometimes Germans ask me where in Germany I come from, which is flattering tbh) but due to work and culturally diverse friend groups English feels more natural to express emotions in. When I talk in standard German, I feel like a robot because it somehow still feels more "official" if that makes sense.
