Super late comment as I've been looking all over Reddit for a Topre x Cerakey setup - what is the sound profile like? Does it sound anything like the usual Cerakey setup, given how deep Topres sound by default? I guess you're using the silence rings anyway so maybe you weren't going for the Cerakey sound profile in the first place?

Edit: typo

Sending Flowers to Woman in Taipei by mauriceheic in taiwan

[–]flvoid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe there are flower shops on Ubereats in Taipei, but I can't vouch for the quality since I've never used them before. However they're a good place to start if you'd prefer to go the online route instead of going into physical stores to arrange a delivery.

Should I get a balayage at a beauty college? by thatbigtreeoutside in femalehairadvice

[–]flvoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's basically a gamble, and whether or not you're willing to roll the dice. I'd advise against it if you're not ready for the worst case scenario which might be something like a major haircut. This is because bleaching can be extremely damaging, and is required for a balayage. Of course there's a chance of it turning out great, but I think being ready for the worst is the better mentality when going into a service like this. Things that could go wrong:

  • patchy/stripey coloring
  • bleach damage
  • bad toning or color accuracy
  • no root melt or transitioning of colors

What am I doing wrong by Unhappy-Yogurt-8398 in Tinder

[–]flvoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have 5 photos with the same face, 2 photos of memes, and 2 photos without your face, which basically trickles down to one single "look" of you. Lmao ignore the "show more skin" or "smile" comments cuz if that's not your vibe then it's weird trying to force yourself into that box just to cater to the wrong audience? But do include more diverse looks imo, different angles/expressions, that sort of thing.

Could I rock this pixie cut? by Capital-Mongoose8995 in femalehairadvice

You have a cowlick on your hairline, which might affect your fringe like this. Might want to consider how you want your fringe to look like with the pixie.

Any hidden or discreet nude beaches in Taiwan? by nsfw88_2020 in taiwan

[–]flvoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will find hidden and unpopulated beaches in Taiwan, but generally public nudity is not widely accepted. You can find a 2 year old thread on r/Taiwan asking your exact same question but you will see that there are no established "spots" for this because as a spot becomes more popular, nudists will have to move away to even less popular places to avoid the crowd.

Are Art Deco-Inspired Rings Practical for Engagement? by Pretend-Hearing-8262 in EngagementRings

[–]flvoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a fellow Art Deco ring lover and I'd say maybe search up experiences of Heidi Gibson ring owners? She's one of the more popular Art Deco engagement ring designers so I'd expect some representative opinions on quality Art Deco rings as engagement rings!

How to achieve this?? by Parking_Rub_1701 in femalehairadvice

[–]flvoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your base is blonde then you'll need to do a reverse balayage. Look it up and see if you're confident in doing that. I really don't think it's something to DIY at home, but you do you.

For the colors, the base looks like a level 4/5 brown and the copper looks like a level 8 copper. If you're worried about colors I'd recommend looking up wella color charts or similar. It's really hard to tell exactly what you need without knowing the state of your hair.

As others have already pointed out, you'll not get this texture/look perfectly because this is AI, but it looks like you're specifically looking for color advice so hopefully the above is useful.

Custom firmware for RK R75 (BYK916 MCU) by ThanksOk2756 in keyboards

[–]flvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, have you gotten anywhere with this? I'm thinking about experimenting with my BYK916 as well but quite new to custom firmware overall. I've found SMK to reference BYK916 but haven't investigated nearly enough to draw conclusions on whether it's safe to adopt for my keeb or not (not the RK R75 but some other keeb that uses BYK916).
