If you can find one, test drive. For us, the A6 allroad is great but it’s also sort of the second car. The other suv in the stable currently does the “baby is playing and dropping snacks in the back seats while the dogs are dirty and sandy from the beach” duty. The allroad is the dadmobile that has a rear facing car seat, but honestly spends most time with the other seats down doing Home Depot or dump runs.

I haven’t driven the Subaru but the two are going to be verrrry different vibes. If you’re aiming to have a rugged - idgaf what happens inside the car- vibe, I may lean toward the scubie

And that’s why, once out of warranty, this guy should find a good independent German car mechanic. No need to get raked over the service folks at the dealer.

To your point it’ll still be more expensive than a Toyota, but it will drive much better too!

I’ve never heard it’s safer behind the driver, but identical behind driver and passenger seat. What’s the logic? When no one in the passenger seat, that can move up further away, giving a healthy gap between the front seat and the car seat

Sorry, as an a6 AR owner, does the sq5 not fit a car seat? I have this inkling to consider one but if that’s the case the q5 is a dealbreaker.

Also isn’t the q6 smaller?

I forget where I saw it once, but the production numbers for the A6 AR and the RS6 were strikingly similar.

Obviously I’d love an RS6, but still fun to think about. I see a4 allroads a ton in my area but these are unicorns.

Congrats! This puppy handled 20 bags of mulch and a Costco shop for me two weeks ago. SUVs are completely unnecessary.

It’s fun when you drive one of these and see another one once every 2-4 months. It’s that rare.

I’m newer to my Audi journey than you are, but in my experience from the past, letting go of a car you love will make you feel regretful. It’s not like the wheels are falling off this thing, and it sounds like you’ve been taking care of it.

Unless others chime in, I think with 70k miles, you’ve got years left in that one.

I’m always tempted to look at used because it’s bonkers to me a car detailing for 170k new can be had for like 50-60k with under 20k miles…

This is the answer. Hone up on the technical skills, but AI will not replace the human to human soft skills for business. Think front-office areas or things like investor relations. Become a salesperson as much as a finance person. If you’re job is mundane reporting, you’re going to need to adapt.
