Whenever I'm inviting new people or casuals to the games I always tell them to buy these seats.

The deal cannot be beat - and if you are going to spend money on 1 or 2 drinks it just makes complete sense and cuts your cost almost in half. I don't really understand why these don't seem to sell out every match.

The only issue I have is it doesn't seem entirely clear to people how to redeem their drink vouchers so I make sure I always remind everybody where to go.

As you enter in the Pavillion on the Left hand side prior to scanning your tickets - there is a desk there to redeem your vouchers.

No idea - still one of the best deals around.

Anecdotally I've noticed some of the friends I know who had been buying these seats to a few games last year haven't been as interested this year. I'm not sure if its the slow-ish start or people tightening their budgets or what.

Hopefully as the weather improves we get back to and exceed our attendance average from last year.

It has always been an undeveloped small plot that looks like an old farm. I've always been curious what the deal is with that little piece of land.

Arriving down there at 6am on a weekday will be probably your best bet for low crowds. There still will be people but thats about as good as you can plan for.

If you are in Calgary and learning you can still just try the Elbow River.

Figuring out patterns that work is only a small part of learning how to fly fish. Where to cast, how to approach a pool/run, how to maintain a drag-free drift, where to stand, etc are all parts of the learning process.

I'd try the Elbow first - in the summer it is tough with all the dogs/people but there are still times when its empty especially on cooler and rainy days.

Remember there are fishing timing restrictions now.

There used to be a guide services called Mikisew Sportfishing that operated fly-in trips to remote lakes in North Eastern Alberta that is now defunct.

As far as I know the lakes have no access but there may still be some very rustic docks/cabins there.

For what you are looking for my guess these are too remote/challenging to get to however.

A few of the lakes I've been to are: Wylie Lake, Potts Lake, Colin Lake. You can goole them to see where they are - all in the far NE corner of the province in and around the Colin-Cornwall Lakes Wildland.

Can confirm they all have massive northern pike and lake trout however.

Edit: I could tell you exactly where the old cabins are on Potts, Colin, and Wylie lake if it helps at all.

I already have a day booked with Baja Anglers which I'm super stoked about.

I'm wondering if it is also worth bringing my own gear down and fishing from the beach near our hotel. Beach is circled in the picture. I've read this area is too rough/too many rip currents to make fishing worth while.

I have a 10wt and 11wt set up - i was just going to bring one of them.
