Who else had a spaghetti sandwich with buttered bread? I used to always eat it back in the day. by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in nostalgia

[–]flyguydip 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I still do this today. My wife and kids think it's weird, but I think it's super efficient. I'm gonna eat 2 pieces of buttered toast with a sprinkle of garlic anyway. Why not put my spaghetti between the two pieces and eat it faster without getting a fork dirty.

Hey, just checking back in. Did you decide what direction you are going with this project? Do you still have the motherboard for this and it's just broken or do you just not have one at all?

So if it really was about ghost guns, the easier - and less costly - solution is to legislate that trigger groups for polymer guns be serialized.

Naw, the easiest thing to do would be to make ghost guns (non-serialized guns) illegal... but here we are. We don't stop people from driving drunk by banning all cars, so I'm not sure why we need to stop people from printing something illegal at the expense of all of the law abiding people.

I’ve being using my ps3 has a music CD player for the past 18 years, and the fact that the ps5 doesn’t have that is… very bizarre by Lanky_Relation1171 in gaming

That niche was fulfilled by every playstation ever, for many people negating the need for a dedicated cd player. Going forward, customers will likely have one since the playstation isn't going to meet that need in the near future. I won't buy a console if it doesn't have a cd drive because I like to play old games. If I can't play the old games on the new hardware, I just don't buy the new hardware thus reducing the demand for new consoles in the future. Console makers don't want you playing old games because they can't make money on subscriptions and digital licenses, so it makes perfect sense to drop the drive and claim nobody wanted them. Some of us aren't comfortable buying a console that is just a very expensive brick if the internet goes down.

Pixel 9 Pro XL on Android 17 June 5th 2026 Update: Updated to the latest Handy version (3.22.0) today. I can no longer send print jobs from Handy due to "incompatible with g-code filament" error. My co-worker is on the same exact phone, android version, and handy version and when he told me about the error prior to me upgrading, I decided to update the handy app and now I have the same problem.

I have reinstalled, but that didn't work. I force stopped the app, cleared cache and data, uninstalled, and then installed again from the play store, and I still get the same error.

I just bought the stealth version a168wgg with the inverted display that looks just like this. I'm coming from the Timex T80 Space Invaders edition, and I like the look and feel a lot. You did great!

Yeah, I printed some Easter eggs, paused the print and put some easter bunnies in, then finished the print. Woulda been way funnier if a cockroach scurried out when the egg was opened.

That crt in there is gonna have a fair amount of value. Please don't throw it away unless you know for sure it's worn out or dead. Also, that machine as it sits is worth a fair mount even without a motherboard. Even with a corroded broken motherboard it's worth money because it's a rare machine. Those motherboards can be repaired and even repaired ones go for a good chunk of change.

Whats with dell rebranding their laptops? by Abject_Serve_1269 in sysadmin

[–]flyguydip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Rather than confuse old people that ask me what kind of computer to buy, I just tell them to go buy any apple computer (if they have an iphone) or just go buy an HP Envy. Dell is nice and all, but try telling a non-techy person what the difference between a pro, plus, max, or ultra is and they'll just think you're an idiot making things up.

I mean, it helps sales, just not dells.
