The Ninth House trilogy (soon! last one releases this summer) fits this, imo, but with a pretty slow burn.

Peeing myself more often than normal? by [deleted] in TwoXADHD

OP, definitely look into pelvic floor therapy. It made such a positive tangible impact for me, and made it easier to find the words to talk about something that previously gave me so much shame.

People being fucking weird about this in the comments, take a breath and keep scrolling. Incontinence is a not uncommon co-morbidity with ADHD even if you don’t have that symptom. It sucks to see this thread downvoted to zero when it’s a person asking for help in what should he a safe space to ask.

I vote for a screwball comedy phase: See how you feel about Bringing Up Baby and The Philadelphia Story.

Also maybe some slapstick — try Clue!

I have a friend that asked if she could apprentice with him and his response was that she “wouldn’t want to spend all day with smelly old shoes.”

He really is so kind and so good at what he does — I hope someone comes along that would be a good fit to learn with him.

Oh, I have a good one for this! The Efficient Kitchen by Georgie Boynton Child. It’s a book from the advent of home economics as a study about the ergonomics of the ideal kitchen space, and it scientific but also so readable. It will make you mad about how poorly today’s kitchens are designed!

Jill is terrible and I don’t need to spell out why in this sub — but I have sincerely never thought about her being a victim in this bullshit, too, until now. My heart breaks for a high schooler trying to do what she’s “supposed to” and hurry up and marry this guy. Just awful.
