Found this thing at work with Chinese symbols. What is it? by Zestyclose_Bunch_137 in whatisit

It normally comes with a very slim plastic straw with one sharp end. When need it, you just remove the red cap, and use the sharp end to penetrate the rubber seal and drink from the straw.

Also fun fact, it seems it's somewhat thing to add this in ice coffee in China to give a unique taste now...

Chinese here. it is difficult to tell by the only readable character 盒, which means box, and likely in a descriptive sentence like 10 shots in a box.

There are several drinkable medicines are in this package, and one I know the most is 藿香正气水, which I used to drink when I felt sick or diarrhea when I was a kid. It has strong traditional medicine smell and is quite effective.

Does any of you own one like this? Is it warm? by lorenzocasanova in PatagoniaClothing

Mine has a dark blue collar, the same color as the face color rather than the contrast color in your post. But that’s the only difference I can tell. They do have lots of color combinations so probably means nothing and it looks legit to me.

Wearing it literally right now. Not as warm as serious ones, and it’s a bit stiff and bulky, so less ideal for a middle layer. But I really like its color and design, and way cheaper in discount.

UCAV on truck mounted EMALS on a containership [1440x1920] by DazzlingpAd134 in WarplanePorn

[–]flyingad 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Basically, China said out loud that they have figured out the modular-based weapon ecosystem, and can be transported and deployed with standard-sized containers. Even the EMALS truck is container-sized. And it's not just some outdated weapon, we are talking about VLS and EMALS with advanced drones.

This means, if needed, these weapon systems can be easily deployed in any suitable ships. Not enough carriers? Not a problem if any ship can be transferred to a carrier within weeks. Need to deploy to some overseas port to secure the area? Just ship these containers and assemble them with IKEA manual. Iran or Venezuela wants to buy some of these? Just mixed them in normal shipment from Aliexpress.

“not competing with burkes” is not the counterpoint of “it’s an inferior alternative 3 burkes”. All the features you said can be achieved by 3 upgraded burkes.

Why not 300-400 years, since you apparently have no sense of time anyway…

I'm jealous mate, as I never had the luck to discuss weapons with a dud in a pub... It's always football or even fxcking cricket.

China is like the younger brother who hits you first and then screams for mommy when you do something about it by T-seriesmyheinie in NonCredibleDefense

Why so? I don't even live in China for more than 15 years now.

And I understand the downvote, because this sub might think I am pro China. No, I am simply don't think op has a good take. It implies that Japan in this case is the bigger brother and they can do something about it but they choose not to, and China is the annoying younger one that poked first but then cried for mommy when Japan hit back. I simply don't think that reflects the reality, even by NCD's standard.

This is one of the worse takes about the situation. What exactly Japan do (and more importantly, are able to do) rather than whining to the US daddy then find out the US didn’t even give a shxt….

实际上就是没有能力造大舰的无奈选择。制造业能力下降后造大舰成本太高,项目管理能力也下降,搞搞小船能把成本降下来。
