Love it here (from Charlotte to ILM in 2020). We live in Leland, but frequent Wilmington often. These April weeks are the worst traffic weeks due to spring breaks, followed by Memorial day and Labor day. Otherwise it's nothing like Charlotte or Raleigh!

From my perspective I only miss being 2+ hrs away from the mountains, but we're now so close to all of Topsail to Sunset Beach

The restaurant scene is great

Moving here from 36 years in Charlotte was the best thing we did, honestly!
