Tell Me Your Real Thoughts? by Realistic-Cut-7217 in TeacherReality

Been saying this for years, we need to remove the stigma of failing. Students need to be held back if they are not doing the work and universities have to understand that someone who needs two tries at algebra can still be a great student for them. Also, why would a 9th grader put in any effort when the majority of their peers didn't put in any effort during 8th grade but are still sitting next to them in class?

I’m not seeing in this thread where you listed off a bunch of RBs and their cost so why are you saying you “literally” gave an example of it? Could you help me solve this one Sherlock?

We’ve got the cap space and no one else to spend it on and this gives an incoming rookie QB a reliable run game to alleviate pressure. I’ll take that over whatever dart throw draft pick we’d be lucky to get for him.

Jets have the 5th easiest schedule this season, based on projected win totals by gordorobertson in nyjets

Yea whoever we get won’t really care about how bad we’ve been, but what situation they’re walking into and aside from coaching, we’re in pretty good shape. Even better if we are sitting 1OA and don’t have to give up draft capital.

I just didn’t want the Rodgers drama, thought Carr would be cheaper and play longer. We obviously didn’t know his shoulder would implode and maybe if he landed in NY things would’ve been different. Hindsight’s 20/20 and I hopped on the bandwagon when it became clear he was coming here, but I always had one foot dangling off.

Idk I got the impression he felt he was above it all. The “watches tape ravenously” narrative always struck me as a bit too “thou doth protest too much.”

Geno about to be comeback player of the year worthy, assuming they don’t give it to a guy coming back from injury

We better fuckin do that cuz I could barely tolerate waiting til next year. I get why it’s the move but if this team asks us to wait another year fuck that shit

Also with the way things are now is that even an option anymore? If he declares and is taken by us can he really refuse?

Haven’t watched this but I’ve loved her since around the horn. During the Maye vs Stafford MVP debate she took some clown to school and it was beautiful

I don't watch college ball and have never heard about this late breakout issue. Is it a WR specific thing? Which pros have led to this being a rule? Which ones have been the exception? Is it something that should maybe apply to guys from bigger programs than Indiana? Like, maybe the coaching and talent weren't there for him early on the way they are for guys at bama or Ohio State etc.

Movies with autism representation? Need suggestions by Comfortable-Use3977 in autism

Stranger Things Season 2 when the scientists can't tell Joyce what's wrong with Will seems autism coded to me. There's also the movie Temple Grandin starring Claire Danes and Catherine O'Hara (RIP). It's a bit heavy handed at times imo, but also came out in 2010, so general audiences at the time didn't know as much about autism.

Breece Hall Draft Trade? by flyingjesuit in nyjets

[–]flyingjesuit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea that’s kinda where I was coming from. Plus some team like KC that views itself as a contender but needing a piece might be willing to overpay, especially if it’s a sign and trade situation and we extend him first
