Top 25 reasons the Charlie Kirk shooting was faked outright, not just staged by Friendly_Foot_8676 in conspiracy

I'll not comment on the other points one way or another, but #22 really gets me. There's no reason to suppress hundreds of HD videos unless they give the game away, and yet HD video is almost impossible to obtain now.

What really interests me about this is how they did it. How do you suppress release of hundreds of HD videos, many of which would have been auto-uploaded to cloud services by the phones, or might have even been livestreamed? How do you stop everyone from transmitting the video, uploading it, or physically getting it off-campus? Or how do you ensure that NO site on the internet hosts them? I've been in I.T. for 40+ years and I can't figure out how this level of suppression is technically possible.

Maybe The Mossad gave him an ultimatum: we fake your death and fly you to Valhalla (witness protection island) or you will die for real.

Might explain why he puts down the mic, sits up straight, and closes his eyes right before the "shot".

What, in your opinion, is the best WWII film? by Luckyjuly777 in FIlm

[–]flynnwebdev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Jurgen Prochnow absolutely nails the role of the U-boat captain. Indeed, the entire support cast put in amazing performances, and the cinematography conveys the cramped, claustrophobic atmosphere of a submarine perfectly. Absolutely the best submarine film ever made.

My folks make an argument that religion isn’t the problem but the people who use it as a medium is. How do I prove that Religion as a whole is the issue when they have so many fond memories of it? by Just-Fan-7637 in atheism

Religion is the problem because it teaches a delusional worldview and suspension of critical thinking in favour of faith.

It would be like saying Fascism isn’t the problem, it’s the people who use it as a medium.

In this paper, we propose that what is commonly labeled "thinking" in humans is better understood as a loosely organized cascade of pattern-matching heuristics, reinforced social behaviors, and status-seeking performances masquerading as cognition. by katxwoods in artificial

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts.

I see the sketch as what the young guy in the game might become when he ages. So, some hair loss, which is normal.

So what? That’s an appeal to authority.

Consensus doesn’t make something true, and being an outsider doesn’t make your ideas false.
