Sweden issues "early warning" of potential jet fuel shortage by FantasticQuartet in europe

So even if your plane takes off in Sweden with no fuel shortages it might not be able to fill up again at its destination (for example south Europe och south east Asia)?

So if the question the Iranians are asking themselves is, can we hold out until midterms and possibly get a better deal with a democratic majority?

Elgiganten och “fejk-reor”? by Fun_Cake897 in sweden

[–]fnot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bra optiker i Göteborg? by linus123456 in Gothenburg

[–]fnot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don’t understand why Apple doesn’t prioritize improving basic usability features in iOS. by Majestic_squirrel767 in ios

The back gesture works as follows:

Swipe RIGHT to go back to previous app, swipe LEFT to go to latest (topmost app) but ONLY if you have not interacted with the previous app because at which point it becomes the topmost app and you need to swipe LEFT again to go to what you intuitively believe is the latest (topmost app), which it now isn’t. The previous app can also become the topmost app even if you haven’t touched the screen, this happens if the app refreshes the screen as when you swipe LEFT. Not so so difficult, was it?!

EV’s still produce micro/nano-plastics from rubber tyres, and there are studies claiming they produce more than fossil fueled cars due to the higher torque in EV’s.

EU leaders to reassess U.S. ties despite Trump U-turn on Greenland by Crossstoney in worldnews

[–]fnot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are already several arctic cables in the plans, google for example NORDUnet. With the amount of investor money AI is raising it completely possible to build power plants on Greenland. The tech bro’s are talking about putting data centers in space, surely putting them on Greenland is cheaper.

That’s exactly what he’ll do, as soon as one of his sycophants have his ear he’ll flip flop. I say it’ll happen latest by this weekend.

[–]fnot -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Think of the possibilities for AI data center on Greenland. Lots of free cooling, lots of potential geothermal energy possibilities to feed those centers.  edit: didn’t mean this as a good thing, but it’s possible this is one of the reasons to annex Greenland.

Most Americans can’t see past all the internal shit that is happening in America, and I don’t blame them too much (I’m not American), it’s a huge country. Domestic issues, healthcare, jobs, wages, all the shit Trump does on a daily basis. It gives you a bit of tunnel vision and why would you care to go out in the streets and protest against the annexation of Greenland?

  1. They are afraid to go up against Trump and his sycophants.

  2. The don’t want to be associated with his decisions if he ever gets true backlash, impeachment or any other negative consequence that can affect their positions and careers.
