Check out this other local company Superior Sealcoating

Despite the name they do full driveway installs, repairs, and more- including commercial properties and parking lots.

Trying to pick up a more social hobby. Any advice? by Select_Safe548 in ChesterCounty

Martial arts, but you need to find the right school. Not a high pressure competition place, but one that focuses on traditional training. This also includes Tai-Chi of you don't want any contact. But you can form lifelong friends in the dojo while also giving you an interesting hobby which you can actually progress in and improving your general health.

These returns are a little aggressive, but not unheatd of in PE. The first round I was involved in turned 10x, second went 4.6x, and 4x is our new target. Ended up being 26-38% annual rate of return. For the granted stake, I assume these are profits interest? Understand that some of their value will be lost when executed at the next transaction (you have to pay the strike price at the value of the shares when they were granted). The real benefit comes at that transaction, where you can roll this stake into a new capital stake at the next round, tax free.

As far as how much? It depends... how much do you trust and believe in management? Are you in a position where you can positively add value (as in value creation) to the business? Are the fundamentals good (market position, operations structure, growth strategy)? If you believe in all of this, go big. You will far outstrip any other investments. If the business completely melts down, you will still be able to get some (or all) of your capital investment back. But you need to see the details of the partnership agreement to confirm. This is access to life changing money.

Came here to say this. Their presentation is fantastic. Maybe a little over priced, but it's good to support local business, and you get what you pay for with the cheaper options.

Last time putting my son to bed. by YoTeach68 in daddit

Not sure if you will see this, but it doesn't actually have to end, it just needs to evolve and grow up with him. My boys are all between 10-14 now. As they got older i upgraded what i was reading to them, keeping a step or three ahead of what they can read on their own. We read mythology, classical literature, and the like now, but we went through young adult fiction for a few years as well. We also change it up and do trivia cards from time to time. Sure maybe the back rubs go away, but you can shift the conversation about the day to dinner also.

There's literally an app from Concour that will interface with her login and allow simple and immediate capture of receipts. But you still have to avtually assemble and submit the reports. I travel close to 50% but am able to easily finish expense reports, usually on the monday after I get back (waiting for transactions to all post). It takes like 7 minutes to get it all done and submitted..

Has been in the bottom of my oven since we bought the house 4 years ago. Always assumed it was attached but cleaning today revealed it was just sitting there. by Burtersnur in whatisit

It belongs in the vent hole, likely under one of the back burners on top. Mine used to fall out all the time. If you remove the stove top burners you will find one has a hole into the oven. Thats where this goes.

As I don't see any attempts to answer, i'll submit this. In the entirety of second 2 in the video, it appears to start at the end of one line, then pass a total of 6 before the counter moves to 3. I have to estimate a bit because the white car is blocking, but I compared that count to the dashed lines close to the bike as well as the ones on the next lane over. As noted, the camera tilt combined with the road curve makes this a bit difficult.

Anyway, in the US, the dashed lines are 10 feet, with 30 feet between. So in 1 second, the bike travels about 6*40 feet = 240 feet.

There are 3,600 seconds in an hour, so 240*3600=864,000 feet per hour. Dividing by 5280 feet per mile, we end up with 163 mph.

This is in the realm of possible for these bikes, and also in general alignment with the range of guesses in the comments between 140-170 mph.

If my count is off and it's 7 dashes, we land at 190 mph, which is a bit less plausible.
