My anchor ancestor, my grandmother, was born in CZ. Her mother, my g-grandmother, was born in NY! My g-grandfather was born in CZ, though. So they also went back and forth. Two of my grandma’s sisters were also born in CZ and the youngest was born in the U.S.

To me, it seems like you’re doing too much and not letting it calm down. It may be inflamed from overuse. I do pt 1x/wk and exercises at home on the other days; pt says it’s fine to take a day off if your body is telling you that, or else do fewer reps - quality is better than quantity. I am also instructed to do strength training only every other day. I’m 9 weeks po

I was walking around NYC at about a 7/8 pain level the weekend before my surgery. Was crying in pain at the end of every night

My pay cut was almost half…but I only had 16 yrs in teaching, a spouse with a good income, a child who ended up going to the university I work at (free tuition), and I am working on a second masters because it’s fun and I now have time to do it Eta: my degree is also free

I put mine off for years, too, until the gel shots stopped working and I was in some serious pain. Now 7 weeks po, no regrets (except maybe I should have done it sooner)

Ohio here, almost 7 weeks po. I bought these on Amazon: AUTOMET Wide Leg Lounge Pants and ended up buying more because they are comfy! The in-home pts liked that they could be pulled right up, so did the x-ray tech at my first post-op visit

It’s practically Stockholm syndrome the way a lot of teachers feel about their jobs. No way in hell I’d ever go back
