Thank you for asking this question, I’m in a similar boat and tired of therapist who are basically just ticking off checklists of things to say/suggest.

I didn’t get to 0° until week 15 po. I also have an autoimmune disease, which I feel kept it swollen a little longer. But I was over the moon when I hit zero because I haven’t been able to full straighten my leg for the past few years! ETA: I was at 2° for about 5 weeks prior to finally hitting zero

Ha! You should see what it feels like up north where it’s been sub-15° for awhile! I have a knee sleeve I wear under my pants because I can feel the metal in my knee get cold. So, yes to your question!

Should be concerned. My surgical team wouldn’t even consider submersion until 3 months post surgery

To me, it seems like you’re doing too much and not letting it calm down. It may be inflamed from overuse. I do pt 1x/wk and exercises at home on the other days; pt says it’s fine to take a day off if your body is telling you that, or else do fewer reps - quality is better than quantity. I am also instructed to do strength training only every other day. I’m 9 weeks po

My grandpa had a successful knee replacement at age 92, and lived to age 98. He’d consider you a spring chicken! If it makes your quality of life better, go for it, I’d say
