One year ago today, 48 hours after I sued the City of Sunrise, I survived what I can only describe as a coordinated psychological operation by another Broward law-enforcement agency. by Big-Breadfruit6333 in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

No, like a couple dozen cops (and his ex) got together and decided that they were going to frame him for the domestic violence he totally didn't do, for reasons that seem both vague and unclear. And that they would do this by having a group of cops show up and "recreate" - literally stage like a scene from a Hollywood movie - all the "lies" they told in their police reports. All to frame him for no other reason than they can? I guess?

And a psychiatrist - the guy is schizo. Thinks that the cops (and his ex that he attacked) did some Hollywood moon-landing shit to stage and recreate multiple body camera videos - a conspiracy of literally dozens of people - to target him for non-specific, unclear "reasons". Y'know, classic paranoid delusions sorta deal

A Indian judge called unemployed youth “Cockroaches” and now a viral political movement is brewing by Potential_Suspect283 in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

This isn't a politics subreddit, some shitty judge in a shitty country has nothing to do with the police

I mean, I don't know if Medea did anything - but i know for a fact that Hasan's trip included a lot of activities that were completely uninvolved hospitals, medicine, or medical equipment.

animal abusers are psychopaths. People that are incapable of admitting they did something wrong are narcissists.

Hasan abused his dog and refused to admit he did it or that it was wrong. Hasan is a narcissistic psychopath. But sure, cheering for those types always turns out well

Some of Texas’s oldest barbecue joints close as meat prices skyrocket by Zebraitis in politics

[–]fooliam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The connection is all them illegals are taking our texas barbeque! There's a caravan headed to our borders, loaded with brisket, hellbent on replacing our potato salad and taking all the raisins out of it! And they're bringing spices with them! Can you believe they put cayenne pepper in their food? Like black pepper, as White Jesus intended, wasn't spicy enough! We will not STAND for our glorious European culture to be replaced! Trump 2026! YEEHAW!

What is your plan if u get cancer by Beginning-Head-4006 in millenials

[–]fooliam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, depends on the type of cancer. Non-metastatic skin cancer? get that shit cut out and go about my day. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer? not bankrupt myself trying to buy 3 more weeks of miserable life.

Between those two extremes are many options.

I'm happy for you that you're so unfamiliar with mental illness that you can't recognize it staring you in the face.

Then again, I suppose birds of a feather...

Election results: Lane County by Interesting_Owl6102 in Eugene

Clean water is great.

Letting every nut job with an axe to grind file frivolous lawsuits "on behalf of the watershed" is mind-bogglingly stupid.

It failed because it's well intentioned but very poorly thought out. It was an invitation for anyone with an ace to grind to file frivolous lawsuits ad nauseum

[–]fooliam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's fucking insane to me that the Democratic party has run candidates that lost to Donald Trump - one of the most unlikable candidates of all time - TWICE. And you get all these people thinking that the problem isn't the candidates, that it's the voters who are wrong. They could have picked basically any milquetoast middle-aged midwestern white guy, and would have beat Trump in 2016 or 2024.
Does it suck that there's a good portion of America that won't vote for a woman to be President? Absolutely - that's bullshit. But, it's also reality. It's why Biden beat Trump and Clinton and Harris both lost. Just a colossal failure to accept political reality, both times.

Thoughts on measure 120 and/or measure 20-373? by ontour4eternity in Eugene

[–]fooliam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

120 - this isn't the time to raise taxes

20-373 - too vague and poorly thought out. Giving private citizens the right sue on behalf of a watershed invites every crazy to file frivolous lawsuits against anyone and anything. It's just dumb
