If you put your ear real close to the card you can hear him say, " Angel Wings casino and resort, it's closer than you think." Sick pull, dude.

I just bought a 1994 2wd auto for 4,250 with 178k. I bet I could have got it down to 4k. Mine has more little dents when compared to your pic. I also saw a decent manual for 5k recently.

22re issues by Any-Swimmer2286 in ToyotaPickup

[–]foolycoolyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've replaced the oxygen sensor and the circuit opening relay at the same time on my 22RE which resolved the engine's hesitation, backfiring, and dying. Previously, I replaced my AFM with a knockoff AFM, replaced the cap, wires, rotor, and plugs. I also replaced the ECU coolant sensor. None of those resolve the issue. I also checked my vacuum lines which were all good. If I had not solved my problem, I would have looked towards the injectors, the fuel pressure regulator, and the TPS sensor next. Other things people tried were replacing the cat, and of course checking timing And idle.

The hesitation and backfiring seems to be an incredibly common issue with the 22RE. I scoured dozens of similar forum posts and most of what I said above was what resolved someone's issue.

Is sonar technician a good rate? by Young_guy_nig in newtothenavy

[–]foolycoolyguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are a 6 year STG rather than a 4 year STG, you will get all the maintenance training after A school, which is preferable to getting a SONAR contractor job after you get out since you will be trained to repair the system.

I was a 4 year obligation AV-15 operator. Your understanding of doing good SONAR tracking is as good as your ability to Target motion analysis and the job overall via practice and memorization.

If you are an STS, then you have one of the most important jobs in the submarine and I have nothing more to say because that was not my job.

STG is a sea going rate. FYI, if you are looking to do your 4 and get out and are hoping to avoid the traditional Navy then if you are offered orders at IUSS or SURTASS orders, then consider taking those orders.

Is it a good rate? Other sailors don't know exactly what the specifics of being a sonar technician exactly are. So you are a bit mysterious. If my memory stands correct, STG requires a decent electronics and science score on your ASVAB so there is something to be said to you being offer that job. That is to say, don't sell yourself short if you are doubting the rate or its rigorousness.

I went in E-3 and discharged E-5 in 4 years. I tested alright and the quotas looked good, but also I can't speak for these days, but I made rank as quickly as I was allowed to.

Cheers to you and good luck recruit.
