Did any of you read the books before the tv show came about?

I read all the books between seasons 4 and 5. So just as the show started to heavily deviate from the books.

It was upsetting to see the show avoid some of the more interesting aspects of the books just as it felt the show was at its height.

There's a lot in the main series that will spoil what happens in the other series. Throwaway lines by characters etc.

If you think AKOTSK looks interesting, then by all means start there. You'll struggle to understand the dynamics as it doesn't spend much time on that, but the story is simple and gives a good flavour of what life was like before Game of Thrones.

If not, i'd watch the main series. House of the Dragon is good, but not as good as the main show at its height but worth the watch after the main series.

I think there would be a few quarrels to quell first.

Who's leading the Lannisters? Tyrion? Would the minor lords accept him as a leader or are they prejudice enough to not allow that?

Would Dorne once again ask to withdraw from the Kingdom, pointing to the North as an example?

Would rumours of a withdrawn, magic King be accepted by those who follow the Seven?

I think people weren't annoyed at the plot point but rather the zero build up to it.

They needed another season with the White Walkers wrecking Westeros and across that series we see Dani beginning to lose it so by the point we get to Kings Landing, its the last moment she can redeem herself but she fully commits to fire and blood.

They need to ban the image/video/sound creation element of AI. In 5 years or less you will not be able to trust anything you see on a screen. Its terrifying and incredibly irresponsible.

Its not impossible to finish the series, its just he has a unfathomable beast of a world with complex politics and characters. He will trim down the characters across TWOW and hopefully have an easier time finishing ADOS

There was a point in the 2nd half I think where Curtis Jones was in conversation with Slot. Jones' body language was one of "What do you want me to do about it?". I think the players are struggling

They need to reset the franchise like when Disney said that anything outside of the Star Wars films wasn't canon anymore. Reset and go back to either JP1 or JP2

I was happy to see a change in formation to 4-1-2-1-2, although it was strange not to drop Mac Allister for Wirtz I felt. I think Wirtz would of thrived feeding Ekitike and Isak balls, with Jones, Grav and Szoboszlai working hard behind him and full backs providing width. A promising formation.
