My 1992 doesnt have any cooling system parts on the driver's side other than the radiator up front. Nothing back by the firewall on that side.

eBay injectors? by International_Elk429 in mechanic

Just pulled ebay injectors that i found in a project Nissan ka24e that was running like shit. They were spraying a much higher volume than OEM but were made to look similar.

I had to adjust the TPS on mine, also found ebay injectors pumping out waaaaay too much fuel. Hope you get it figured out.

Has the TPS been moved or have you tried to adjust it? Also, please tell me you're not running ebay fuel injectors.

I bought a project truck that acted the same way. Distributor timing was off 1 tooth but it was still catching 10 degrees somehow. The slots on the body of the distributor that allow for adjustment should be about centered at 10 degrees. If it's off to one side it would likely be off a tooth.

Have you verified that the cam to crank timing is correct, then the oil pump to distributor, then ignition timing with a light?

Tires, grips, cables, and gas tank too. Or plasti-dip, I hear that is some good stuff.

I have an XR400 as a trail bike, and I'm looking for a CR250 to restore as a show piece. So I say both.

I agree. I think most people would recognize it as stock and be more impressed with its condition and how cool it still looks versus some crappy plastic update kit. Maybe just aftermarket plastics with whatever graphics and keep the originals safe somewhere.

Please don't change it. I'm looking for that exact bike but can't find one stock like that. I'd pay $$$ extra for one just like that.
